“B&O eastbound Washington Express headed by E8 (1445), passing through Pullman Junction along 95th Street on the South Side. This was the Chicago-Washington alternative to the Capitol Limited.”

“Monon’s Thoroughbred from Louisville is on the last lap to Dearborn Station at Pullman Junction on Chicago’s South Side in September 1965. Monon, IC, CB&Q, NKP, B&O, C&O, RI, BRC, Wabash, and EL movements through this busy junction were governed by gates and signals controlled by switchtenders and operators. Monon passenger service would end two years later in September 1967.”

Erie Lackawanna - Pullman Jct. by d.w.davidson  “A trio of Erie Lackawanna GP35s lead a train north on the C&WI Main Line at Pullman Jct., on May 27, 1974. The BRC switchtender’s cabin that protected the BRC / N&W (NKP) crossing is visible behind.”

“Here it is, grainy as an Ektachrome can be after almost 50 years of storage, but is a BL2 worth it? Here's Monon #30, another eclectic sample of their collection, heading a northbound freight on C&WI trackage rights, as it passes Pullman Junction."
