Evening SOO by Danial Via Flickr: “After completing the Watertown set out and pickup, Canadian Pacific train 584 backs toward its train, as the moon shows its presence in the eastern sky. CP Train 584 CP 5970, Soo Line 6044 Watertown, WI Spring 2006.”
Eastbound Hi by Danial Via Flickr: “The autumn clouds are thick once again, as the 1947, Milwaukee Road built Cedar Rapids, brings up the marker on Amtrak's eastbound Empire Builder at Richwood. I never tire of seeing this Brook Stevens designed parlor car that has been beautifully restored by the Friends of the 261 group.”

Going Home by sdl39hogger on Flickr.
"A beautiful Sunday afternoon has ended, as Canadian Pacific's westbound train 287, has the WSOR 101 in its train. The WSOR 101 is in-route to Minneapolis Junction, where it will join the Friends of the 261 group and be dressed in Milwaukee Road paint and have its Milwaukee number restored, 32A. This will certainly be a great addition to the set, with its HEP (head end power) package and near mint condition to assist in paying homage to The Milwaukee Road."

Caption: “Just another clean box car? Not really, this one may not look it, but it's pretty cool. It's a newsprint car for international service only. There's a couple of tags on this car, one of them stating that it can be used only in international service and cannot be loaded for domestic service. The CPI initials indicate that the car was built in Canada.”
