Kiana Mosser (she/her) 🌒 Lead Pixel Artist 🌘
More than just creating pixel art for the game, Kiana developed the visual language for Midautumn's pixel artstyle. From the vis dev stage, gathering visual design inspiration and building off of real-world references, such as shui mo and Asian diaspora graffiti, to final assets, designing tile sets and UI graphics, Kiana is key to what makes Midautumn look like Midautumn. She creates the visual framework that additional pixel art and design work is done within.
You may already know Kiana's work as an established Filipino-American artist and game dev, especially her viral Pokemon pixel artwork. Additionally, she's worked as an artist on the game Super Meat Boy Forever, the Oscar-qualified short film, Changyou's Journey and a number of zines, such as Winds of Hoenn.
