It was also honestly a good learning experience, especially with the colours.
I rarely or never use this style for a full illustration, usually just for backgrounds. Glad that the client was happy with the results! Guess I should start using this style more, other than for backgrounds.
My original plan was to make a redraw based on just one artwork from 2015. Then, I thought of making two redraws in one. My hand wasn't ready for the sudden heavy work, though...

Last month was hectic... and so is this month! Ai yah!
Thankfully, I have a one-week break before the next event, so I'm taking this chance to finish moar pending art, yeah!
This one is my re-imagined version of the Kapre, a giant in Philippine mythology which dwells in trees (literal trees) and smokes tobacco.
I'll be using this as well for my other project, like the first one I did for
Project Re:Imagine
