I get SSI but most of it goes to my abusive grandma who demands it due to us being allowed to live with her, rest goes to doctor or therapist I must see.

Grandma does not allow us to eat, use or touch anything of hers she doesn't want us to taint it with our corruption and vile souls. She has anger issues and strikes out easily, she abused my mom mentally and let her husband physically abuse her. We used to live on our own in a house... that had holes in the walls and floor next to no plumbing and a bad exterior.

But we've been stuck here ever since then.

We desperately need food for the kids, for my family, for my grandma's cats aka ours as she feeds them shittu, cheap garbage. A little boy once said with confidence, "When I grow up, I'll be a soccer star." But that dream was silenced in a single moment, amid the rubble and the dust. They all perished in random bombings, leaving their dreams echoing in our hearts.

We face the same cruelty, caught between loss and fear of what lies ahead. My family and I try to stay strong, but a harsh winter is approaching, and we have no warm shelter, only thin clothes that cannot keep out the cold, and supplies that run out day by day. My child, Hamoud, like every Palestinian child, doesn’t understand why the world has become so harsh, or why he is denied the warmth and life he deserves.

having palestinians posting pictures of all their medical documents and pictures of their children or family has always been violation of their privacy, but especially now i feel like its not needed to anymore in order to make people believe they are real people who really need help during a genocide. Eyad has insisted on adding pictures to the posts in order to gain attention and both Ahmed and Mai have sent me pictures of their documents from the hospital or themselves just so people believe them and i've always hesitated to add them because these are all personal documents! This shouldn't even be necessary! People that want to donate will do so regardless and those who believe that these are scams will keep thinking that no matter how much proof is given.
