It's not guilt tripping to beg people to reblog fundraisers nor it's virtue signalling to boost fundraisers
I know I said this website is the virtue signalling website but not the act of actually giving money to people in need. If you're not helping people you claim to care about, that's virtue signalling
Very true^^^
Hilda is pregnant living in a tent with her 10 person family in gaza, please donate and circulate her campaign, she is low on funds and low on necessities!

One day in July, Anas had gone to inspect his home and their family home because they were displaced into a tent and were hoping to move back. However, when he arrived the occupation fired at him from planes and hit him directly on his feet. He was buried under rubble and Anas' injuries were extensive. Thankfully, his friend was able to rescue him and take him to the hospital, where only the bone in his leg was intact, and the remaining tissue was extensively damaged.
At the hospital, Anas received reconstructive surgery. The doctor performed 12 reconstructive operations, transferring tendons, connecting nerves, and building muscle and skin from transplants from his hip. He was spared from amputation thanks to the surgeon, however the damage to the nerves and tissues was unable to be completely treated due to lack of resources.
Although Anas has received some treatment and surgeries since his injury in July, he requires more extensive treatment abroad where they have the resources to treat him properly and possibly do an ankle transplant. Anas is a father to a young girl, and wants to be able to walk again and play with his daughter more than he can now.
Howdy folks, the Senate will be considering the first ever resolution blocking arms to Israel. This is huge and historic; it would block government contracting and about $20 billion in arms and support. This is an uphill battle, PLEASE urge your senators to support S.J.Res114-115. This is maybe the most important piece of legislation relating to Palestine that we have ever gotten and we must seize this opportunity.
This doc has information on the resolutions and their process, as well as sample messages and a phone script you can use. Please, use this moment to hear witness for your neighbors.
If you voted, can you also share ( @freepaleatine95 ) Marah's story? Her family is living under dangerous conditions in Gaza where they are at risk from the bombings and other attacks. Everyday is a struggle and Marah hopes her family will not be starved. They've raised $53,175 / $70,000 as of now. Even just a small donation or one reblog can help.
Tagging for reach, let me know if you wish to be removed.
ok last thing. but what people fundamentally need to get through their heads is the significance of gaza fundraisers not being the same as like mutual aid when you're helping someone get groceries, because it is a genocide. there is insane deliberate scarcity and prices are unmanageable, because there is nowhere nearly enough for everyone, so only people who can pay can eat. and what positioning individual fundraisers as the only course of action does is quite simply give a tiny percentage of random people whose fundraisers take off the ability to pay those prices while thousands of others can't. and every one of those thousands of people without a fundraiser is suffering through the same inconceivably horrific reality. it is giving a few completely desperate people out of hundreds of thousands a slightly more favorable position in a horrific war economy of imposed scarcity. and what grassroots community kitchens do is try to mitigate in some small way that inconceivable hierarchy of who can pay and who can't, by stretching ingredients as far as they can last to cook meals at large scale and give them out at no cost. and obviously people are still going to send money to their friends and families because this is hell what else are we supposed to do but please just think about that before promoting endless individual fundraisers as somehow the most ethical way to help
Operation Olive Branch has a spreadsheet dedicated to mutual aid, local distro, community kitchens, etc. in Gaza.
This is a good place to start if seeking to donate to a community resilience action. Just contact the group(s) directly to make sure they are still active. Life in Gaza and Palestine is full of uncertainty.
at least big losses like this give you a period where you can say "america is evil" out loud without some weepy self absorbed person immediately going "butbutbut" until the shock wears off and they've mentally recalibrated to defend the status quo again
liberals will feel a rare dissonance upon catching a glimpse of the reality they live in and then go to the supermarket where they can still get seasonal fruits year round or take a drive on their fully paved roads to calm down or engage in any other mundanity of their world dependant on imperialist extraction and feel rejuvenated, politically, by their dissonance simmering down into a cool complacency.

We have managed to raise €32.000 for Nader and his family since the beginning of our campaign, and as with any other Palestinian who are fighting for their lives against the oppressors, I do not wish for Nader and his family to succumb to the murderous regime. Please, together we can raise enough so that they can afford for basic necessities as well as for them to be able to escape through the border crossing, once it opens.
They're not asking for much, just €10 should suffice!
By donating, you are not only helping Nader, but also his entire family!

Sami and his family's last dream: escaping the hell of war on Gaza in search of safety
Sami's story begins in Gaza, where he was born and raised in a humble home. He lived a quiet life with his wife and their three children: Jud, Lin, and Misk,🍉 along with his ailing mother, and father who suffers from chronic thyroid🙏 and parathyroid disease, and his four siblings: Hamza, Bilal, Muhammad, and Layan. Sami worked hard in his modest shop, selling car spare parts to provide his family with a decent, stable life.😔
But everything changed with the war. In a dark, heartbreaking moment, their home was completely destroyed. With no shelter to protect them from bombings and displacement, Sami and his family were forced to move repeatedly, traveling from north Gaza to the south 🏠.The constant displacement took a heavy toll, exhausting them physically and mentally, leaving them in a relentless cycle of fear and uncertainty.
Things worsened when Sami’s only source of income vanished, as his shop was destroyed in the bombings 💔💼. Life became even harder; they now live in a worn-out tent that fails to protect them from the searing heat of summer or the biting cold of winter ⛺🌞🥶, sharing in both hardship and sorrow.
Since their displacement, Sami’s mother’s health has deteriorated due to the lack of essential medicines. She urgently needs surgery, but the shortage of medical resources has made things critical, and her condition is worsening every day 💊
Despite these overwhelming challenges, Sami clings to his dream of taking his family away from this nightmare, searching for a place where they can find safety, education, and healthcare, free from the horrors of war 🌍🕊️. Sami fights daily for a better future for his family, holding onto fragments of hope in every moment, determined to provide them with a life of dignity, far from destruction and fear.
We humbly ask for your donations to support Sami and his family. Even a small contribution can make a huge difference in helping them rebuild a safe and dignified life away from continuous suffering 💙🙏.

Harris now begins her defeat speech. Most expect it to lose in some states due to the Biden administration's support for Israel and its promise to stand by Gaza. Unfortunately, Trump will also not stand with Gaza, and since his term, he has declared Jerusalem the capital of Israel. Please support Gaza because in reality there is no administration or president who stands by the oppressed people of Gaza. Only free peoples stand by them. In this difficult time, I call on you to support my oppressed family in Gaza.
Palestine is free
Thank you all for helping us reach our initial goal! When I first set up the fundraiser I randomly picked $50,000 hoping the war would end before we even raised half of it...Unfortunately the war is still ongoing and the funds are still desperately needed as less and less aid enters Gaza, increasing the prices of the little that is available. Another consideration is when I transfer the money to Mahmoud's brother in law's bank account, the bank takes a 30% cut of the money. Below is a receipt of my most recent transfer into Gaza. So please, continue to donate, you are quite literally the reason why the Balousha family hasn't starved to death yet.
Hi. Now that I have your attention, I'd like for you to consider sending some money to my friend Mohammed (@ahmed-0-khalil). He's only 19, his father is diabetic, his brother is autistic, another of his blind, and his youngest brother (who's name the account and fundraiser are made in) is just 6 years old. Mohammed has spent the past year taking care of them and trying to raise enough funds for them to evacuate, all while dealing with a shrapnel injury in his leg. If you can, sending even just 10€ would help.
Please donate and reblog
