Unearthed photos of some ANCIENT COSPLAYS (omg).These fuckers are from like 2007-ish? Geez.
On the left is an OC character, a futuristic hoverboard courier girl (I forgot her name). I made everything for this cosplay except the gloves and goggles, and I painted the shoes and added glow-in-the-dark tubing that I made by injecting glow paint into vinyl air hose.
On the right is a Due le Quartz Miyavi cosplay (reference). I was actually REALLY proud of this one. It was my most expensive cosplay at the time, because I ordered all the fabrics from the UK. Also my sewing machine was like “fuck those fabrics”, so I hand-sewed a LOT of it. (I also learned that my local Hobby Lobby was really snooty about “non-Christian crosses” when I was shopping for the dozen-or-so ankh charms…)
The flowers are blooming nicely this spring... Well some of them
