@racethewind10 left some tags on one of my other pieces that put this idea in my head so here we are. Who wouldn’t want to see a little Ortegas/La’an/Una? Una and Ortegas deciding La’an needs to loosen up a little 👀

(that doesn't involve Enterprise Bingo)#La'an finds this wholly unacceptable but clearly Una is not interested in her & then at some point Erica gets La'an drunk#and La'an gets a little maudlin when she's drunk (until she gets really Fighty and Erica makes a mental note never to do this again#without backup. aka Christine. who will just make it worse scratch that. not doing this again) ANYWAY the point is Erica has a great idea#she will fake date La'an! it will make Una jealous! it will force them to act on their feelings! (she pitches this plan to la'an but#conveniently leaves out the word 'date' because Erica - who is properly socialized - knows that actual friendship will look like dating#to these idiots. And if nothing else Erica *likes* La'an and Una! she likes having friends! this is good! (This is not good#because Erica catches feelings. Because La'an doesn't even think they're 'dating' and she's doing really considerate things#and then being all noble and saving Erica's ass and looking stupidly hot doing it and Erica got distracted by teh blood on her lip and oops#she just kissed La'an who is..kissing her back. Its a nice kiss (a REALLY nice kiss) but it should not have happened! so Erica runs away#and La'an is sad and Una is pissed off because how dare Erica hurt La'an but when Una finally tracks Erica down Erica is drunk and sad#because she's falling for La'an but La'an has feelings for Una & the whole point was to get Una to *notice* except now its all ruined#(oh my god what if Christine is there and just laughing her ass off. she's sympathetic sure but like what a mess. she has to laugh a little)#talking?? happens?? but somehow Una gets all three of them in the room#and then its La'an being very tightly controlled but inwardly losing it and Erica being blushy but game and Una trying very hard to be#stern and practical (but fuck La'an looks so pretty in the light from the twin suns they're orbiting and Erica has *always* made Una smile)#and then there is kissing and the world doesn't end and the Enterprise doesn't blow up and the slow realization that it doesn't have to be#just Erica and La'an or just La'an and Una there is something between all of them - and if Erica and Una aren't really more than friends#right now well. there's a solid foundation and it turns out when you talk about feelings sometimes good things happen so maybe#MAYBE they should just keep kissing and see what happens. and that's what they do#(probably what happens eventually involves broken furniture two sprained ankles and all three of them almost late for alpha shift) --@racethewind10
