Back from Japan and I can finally share the papercrafts I did as a surprise for two of the friends that went to Japan with me. Part of the trip was to go to the Eorzea Cafe in Akihabara, and I wanted us to be able to take our characters with us!

Originally I was going to draw something digitally, but as time before the trip drew closer, the logistics of finding time to draw and print something off was becoming more and more complicated. So! I went the traditional art route and made these instead! The characters break apart and I was able to gift everyone their character at the end.

The final image is Saphiiya, Xarann, and Ciardha's successful arrival at the Eorzea Cafe!!

It's Xarann again for @ocmonthly prompt for August: Magic!

I shared Xarann before, but this time I'll talk about his relationship to his magic. He's a DND character originally and started as a wizard, before moving into warlock. Xarann learned magic from a very young age, whether he wanted to or not. He actually got up to a reasonable high level, before dying and being ressurected reset him back to square one - something he wasn't sad for since he didn't like who he was, or what his magic was for, before that.

His magic is largely used for being showy now, and his warlock spells give him access to protective and healing magic. He still has a few destructive spells - but he'll NEVER learn fireball again.

I needed to do some personal art, and I like this outfit I put Xarann in for raid, so-- Here we are lol

Xarann for @ocmonthly !! I draw extremely long hair on so many of my characters lol This counts as 'short' in my dictionary.

Some fun facts about Xarann's hair - He cut it himself the first time, now he will request the diagonal uneven style. (Before he ran away from home it was more even) His hair is super thin and light like 'spider silk' (just drow things) It's off white towards yellow, but 90% of the time I shade it with purple so that doesn't stand out as much.

It's shaved in the back, but that's only visible where the hairline meets at the back. (and usually covered at most angles.)

A friend wants to cameo friends' characters as summons in her game, so I sketched some reference poses of Xarann for her.

After years of using Paint Tool Sai, it stopped working with my new PC. I've spent the last week and a half familiarizing myself with Clip. I've also been familiarizing myself with Xarann's Dawntrail glam so - why not combine them lol

There's some interesting brushes in Clip, though I really miss Sai's watercolour brush. It blended just right u.u
