Got a new desk set up! My husband and I swapped around our desks and I finally got a nice chair, and an actual drawer set for under my printer. It's is a really different feel from my old wood desk, but I am loving the clean and open space. It really helps lighten the room.
Work Space love.
Gotta say I am pretty obsessed with my setup. It's comfy, it's cozy, it's cute. I will be sad if I have to say goodbye to it any time soon.
Working on putting together a few new things for my shop. I will be restocking mystery sticker sets, and maybe do a few more mystery art packs. Also, will be adding some really cute new sticker sets. The two on the right are a little sneak peek!
Adding the eyes to two frogs and one toad. It is a delicate process that requires video chat support from my spouse, a big cup of tea, and a small explosion of supplies across my desk.
Project complete.
The Elizabeth Shannon Apron by Odacier
Absolutely love this pattern. Easy to follow, lots of room for alterations, and most of all a great functional piece.
HIghly suggest if you are looking for a pinafore, or apron pattern. Also the pockets are flawless and lovely.
Update on life and all my projects. It has been a little while, but it was nice to do another catch up piece.

Living for my days off so I can tackle this mess of a desk. Have way to many projects and way to many great ideas for even more. Gotta figure out a better way to organize things... any suggestions would be awesome. I prefer analog to digital, apps and websites don't really work for me. But it is getting a tiny bit overwhelming.
Just a few things: *I love knitting, but right now I am a bit exhausted by it. Probably because I don't really have any projects that excite me, or that are close to being completed. *My cats are crazy, and cute. I mean just look at little Prince Ein asleep in my craft cubby <3 *Still super into texture. Transitioning between the cardigan, socks, a cowl, and a cabled scarf. That's all. I'm tired and just a tiny, tiny bit overwhelmed. Other than that things are great :)
Been a bit to busy to photograph my current projects... But last week my friend let me borrow her swift, and I learned how wonderful winding yarn can be. Even my husband got excited and spent some time winding up a ball. It was so simple, but still so relaxing and enjoyable. I sure know what I want for Christmas now 😂
Last week I wasn’t very invested in posting to social media. Sometimes it just drains all of my creativity away, which I find annoying and stressful. I have to occasionally remind myself that social media isn’t my job, and that I have zero obligations to post anything. So, I ended up taking a mini hiatus, as well as seriously considering taking a longer one in the future. Just to revamp, collect myself, and pour more of my focus into my projects, not the presentation of a finished project.
This week isn’t starting off much better, mostly due to personal health problems (does anyone else out there in their twenties feel like their body is just falling apart?) I have taken to chilling on my bed, studiously working on my cross stitch, joined in by my little helper Ein. He can always make me feel better, no matter how terrible I feel.
So here is to a week that will hopefully turn around. To not letting your life be dictated by social media. And to maybe feeling good enough to go outside and enjoy some sun!
It was finally cold enough for me to go outside today wearing a hat for the purpose of warmth! Not that I liked it at all... it was too cold. So, right now I am doing a major overhaul of my craft room/workspace. It feels so good to get rid of some much of garbage and half finished projects that build up overtime. Here is to "spring" cleanings and making room for more creativity! Also, I'm really in to buying flowers for my house. They are always at a market I go to, they tempt me and I have given in. Granted, it might be the first thing I need to budget myself on...
"Let your work space drive you and inspire you." I do not have an instagram/Pinterest worthy workspace. This picture is a small snap shot of one (half) wall. But I still like to surround myself with cute things. Or things that make me feel at peace in my room. I also try to clean it regularly and dump out all my worthless projects. It is very important for me to keep the space organized. If it is messy, I am distracted and stressed. Clean environments make me very calm. Maybe one day I will have the perfect workspace. But for now... This little room will do :)
