Making Useless Things

Current projects: Some black socks for my husband. He asked that they contain a skull on the ankle. Why? I haven't the faintest idea. But he has never asked me to knit something for him before, so I'm happy to do it! A project I simply named "Play" because that's exactly what it is. I am just going to knit till I get there. I do have a design idea in my head, but this yarn has a mind of its own. Every time I have started a project with it it has decided not to cooperate. So I am taking it easy and just letting the yarn do its thing.

I'm Back! I took a little time off of posting because I was busy and tired, and not really working on anything exciting. As you can see, my current projects haven't really changed. The only new thing is my urgent need to start a baby project. I have a new niece being born at the end of the month, so I have to start something. The plan is to make it a few sizes bigger, so when I finally finish it and mail it, it will fit her perfectly. Other than that I'm just whacking away at that sweater... the sleeves might be the death of me, or the sweater. They make for some sloooow knitting.

I am ready to have a dance party, because I am finally ready to move onto new projects! I do have a few orders to finish up, but they are pretty easy and enjoyable. Right now I'm pumped to be starting on my Cinderella project. This is a sneak peak at a very small part of it. New stuff rocks. I'm also getting an order of yarn soon... So I can start even more projects! Yes! This has been a great day :)

I bought a new rug. Also that's a little sneak peek of what's going in the shop. Also my "gator" slippers are so old and have a lot of holes and a lot of darns. But I love them to much to give them up. And knitting a new pair won't be the same...

Hello friends. So if you have been wondering why I haven't been posting very much. Here is the story. Well aside from dealing with normal life worries, on top of that if you missed it, I did move to a new country. And in the meantime I am trying to restart a business... Currently everything is a work in progress. But today was a great day and I am full of creative energy and I feel so good. I hope you do as well. I got to go yarn shopping for one of my Christmas presents.

I found this awesome hank of yarn and turned it into the above. A decent infinity scarf.

It is nothing uber special, but I have never seen yarn like that before.  So, I am keeping it for myself and will enjoy it always.
