A few more shots of my Ripple Crop Top by JessieMaed. I actually faded two colors together. I was worried about the placement of the fade, since it is pretty central. I didn’t want so much of the lighter color to show, but I am also not eager to knit stitches back to fix anything. So I went with it. Now that it is blocked, I am happy with the colors. This is such a great pattern, and very easy to adjust the fit to something you might like more (I mean by length, not by width and shaping) Already picking out stash yarn to make another more t-shirt version.
I cast on the Ripple Crop Top by JessieMaed. My progress is really slow, but I am so excited to be making this. It should be a really fun summer piece, even though I am knitting it up in fingering weight merino wool. It is ok, North Eastern summers do get that hot :)
THE GOOD WEATHER IS BACK. sorry. I am just very happy to see the sun. My first rainy season on Okinawa last year only last about 19 days, I believe. This year it was closer to 30. Now the sun is shining all the time, and it is certainly NOT scarf weather. But I am still hard at work trying to finish it up. This may be a project I keep for myself. I am starting to attach fond memories to it, since I watch Outlander while I work on it 😄 Can not wait to have it blocked and completed. I hope the sun is shining where ever you are, because the sun is awesome!
I tried out some big fluffy yarn and made a big fluffy cowl.
I shot these photos half awake, it was great.
I wont get to wear this again, as I am moving back to a warm state. But it was fun to have it for awhile. My sister will gladly take it from me :)
