Working on a super cute new pair of socks. Can you tell what/who is it going to be?
BTW, color-work on socks is hella annoying. But for some reason I keep wanting to knit socks with color-work!!

Halleljuah! These skull socks are finished. It was a lot, and I mean A LOT of ends to weave in. But I couldn’t carry my strands loosely enough to wrap them all the way around the sock. And I had strict instructions that the socks only have a skull, the rest needed to be black. My husband better wear these someday…
Oh boy, this month is flying by. I still can't believe next week is Thanksgiving! I finally packed up a few boxes to send home, one of them is all knitted goods 😉So my family sure has something to look forward to. I was supposed to work on blog posts and photos today, but I skipped out to work on sewing a skirt (that didn't turn out very well 😐) I am trying to queue up something fun for December since I will be traveling for most of it. Also, I am trying to unload these hats that are pictured... and I have a few more. So keep an eye out on my Instagram @gaquade or my Etsy shop Making Useless Things. I will be selling them cheap and most likely free shipping. I am also willing to bargain, or if you have a good home for them and good reason, I am down to gifting them.
The time has come... I finally made this purse! I bought the fabric for this a few months ago and it just took me ages to get the proper inspiration, and drive to make it. The big thing was that I didn't believe my sewing skills could master making a circle bag. But after a few quick YouTube tutorials, I was on my way! The outcome is amazing! I love this purse to death. I still can't believe I made it all by myself 🙌 Only one downside, I wish I used stronger stabiliser, as it is a bit mushy and can lose some of its form. But it was so nice to see how much I have actually managed to pick up on while messing around with sewing. Now if only I could just start making clothes...
Another pair of fair isle gloves to match one of my hats. Probably going to make a few more pairs and send them to my sister to use at one of her craft shows. Also, I found some mushroom growing under my fig tree. They looked so cute. I couldn't dig them out. Life is good... Full of doctors visits, but that should be over soon. Maybe one of these days I will make it to the beach. How refreshing that will be.
I wanted to share with you an origami project I did over the weekend. It was a giant pain in the butt to assemble. But origami paper is so cheap here in Japan, I couldn't help it. It is not as pretty as the one in the video because I was using up paper I had laying around. Even though there are glue stains, and a few crumples, it is going to be a killer desk ornament.
Sup.
Finished this hat a while back, I was just to lazy to take pictures of it. I am also pretty busy visiting family/friends, packing up my apartment, and moving to Japan.
I can't tell you enough how much I love this style of hat. They are a lot of fun to make. As well as quick and easy. So easy I might have to write a patter :)
Love you all.
