Ssamba appreciation post

Two years ago, we learnt the terrible news about Ssamba’s passing and I have to say, i am still not over it. I know I should be, because I never knew her, but somehow, i am not. i still think about Fluttering Feelings almost every day and still think it is one of the best stories ever written and it is just heartbreaking that she never had a chance to finish it. So I would just like to say, Ssamba, you are amazing, wherever you are and I miss you. And i’m sure i’m not alone in this sentiment. To Ssamba!

So I’d like to say thank you Ssamba, your work really impacted my life, especially when I was coming to terms with my own sexuality. Thank you for sharing your story and work with everyone, I know your work inspired a lot of people, and you will be greatly missed, but not forgotten. May you Rest in Peace.
