Draco felt as if he were on the dais at work, right at the point when he’d put together just enough pieces for the disparate materials he’d started with to start looking like whatever he was meant to be building. The process of building something lovely had begun, despite the less-than-desirable materials. He’d seen what was to come and the foundation was coming together beautifully if the sleeping man in his arms was any indication. Against all odds, he was building a happy and rewarding life.

I started using Head and Shoulders ten years ago for itchy scalp and dandruff, and then for ten years I have not had itchy scalp and dandruff, so I thought “why do I still buy shampoo to combat itchy scalp and dandruff when I do not have itchy scalp and dandruff,” so I stopped buying the shampoo for itchy scalp and dandruff and can you guess I have now? Can you predict what currently afflicts me? It’s alright if you can’t because apparently I fuckin couldn’t either
Cutting something out of your life because you think you don’t need it any more only to realize that it was in fact working as intended and preventing a problem that will return should you stop doing this is a good experiment to run periodically with something small like dandruff shampoo, lest you start to think it would be a good idea to do this with like let’s say public health and the social safety net and vaccines
I had a liver transplant when I was 14 and like six months later I was chatting with my surgeon and he said “there’s gonna come a time, probably when you’re a teenager, where you’re gonna think, ‘I feel great, why am I still taking all this medication? I haven’t needed it in years.’ and you’re gonna want to stop taking all this medication. Guess what’s gonna happen then? You’re gonna go into rejection and your liver is gonna start failing, and you’re gonna be dying again, and we’re gonna have to find you another liver. So don’t do that.” And I said “why the fuck would anyone do that?” and he said “people are stupid.”

- Speaking of tomo—holy shit. When the extent of his relationship with his partner was revealed, my jaw dropped
- I’m excited to learn tsubasa’s story and how her perfect hearing was discovered
- Are guys in the masks meant to be the villains? Their competition?

- I’ve decided of all the bands, IRL I’d be a re: vale fan. They have the most varied discography and Yuki’s voice is my fave. On stage, momo’s energy and yuki’s… yukiness balance each other out beautifully. I love that old married couple
- Real talk any time Minami appears, I want to punch my tv. I hate him more than Ryo.
- Nagi - the people’s prince. When he spoke in Okinawa dialect I DIED. Also this stalker is obvs his body guard and I need MORE.
- After watching the ending, I wonder if they planned this from s1 since their first song was Monster Generation
- Sogo and tamaki are SO GAY for each other. I adore them. Second fave ship
- When Tenn told Haruka to take his pacifier out, I gasped
- Loved loved loved the cycle of Trigger going back to where i7 started
- Tenn needs to bury the hatchet with his family. I want to see a teary reunion where he lets his guard down and lets himself be loved by someone other than his fans
- When Tenn responded to people wanting to see him cry by saying just smiles tonight, he was so flirty. It was a side of him we hadn’t seen that made his professionalism really shine
- I LOVE Gaku for declaring war on Kujo—someone had to do it
- I want Zool to fail so bad, but I don’t want Toma to fail so I am CONFLICTED
- As someone who really wants to nurture and build up those that follow me professionally, I love that Re: vale are such good senpais. They’re not greedy about fame—they just want to do their thing and support their little babies. It’s such a beautifully breath of fresh air when we’re used to narratives of the older senpais usually holding on to their crowns as tightly as possible
- You’re telling me that momo was a soccer bro and then turned into a flamboyant twink with an earring and red nail polish? I am not buying it.
- I feel like Iori could be anything, but I can’t see him being an idol forever like the others. I want so much more from him and for him because in the show all he does is give. I want him to TAKE
Standout moments of the whole series:
- The scene on the ship festival when i7 comes out and sings natsu—their earnestness and the reaction from the crowd will live in my heart forever
- Trigger singing their new song a cappella
- Re: vale singing Esperanza with Trigger as backup dancers. I got CHILLS at the end when they said they had the trigger and did little gun motions with their hands
That’s all I got since the ending totally blindsided me. I am roadkill rn and crawling towards the side of the road AKA project b lol

Thoughts:
- Iori and Yuki are so autistic I ADORE them
- I really wish Riku would have been open about having asthma. As an asthmatic myself, it would have been beautiful
- As a marketer, Zool’s debut was chef’s kiss
- I want to ship Tsumugi and Gaku SO BAD, because I love Gaku and want him to live happily ever after. BUT Tsumugi is such an aro ace queen that I just can’t. I adore her
- I also want to ship Kaoru and Nagi bc Kaoru is such a fangirl for Nagi, but Nagi is such an emotional hot mess and a flirt… my girl Kaoru deserves a PRINCE in *every* way
- When Takanase Kujo talks about Zero, he looks so wacky I feel like I’m watching a shonen anime
- Imho whoever voices Mitsuki has the *perfect* Japanese twink voice. 2nd only to Momo
- I’m bummed we didn’t get to see the other side groups - the Pythagoras trio specifically. Their song is FIRE
- Of the units, I think Zool has the most real world idol music, with Trigger coming in second. I7 is straight up anime music (but I love it)
- Every other day I have a new song stuck in my head. Two days ago it was Natsu. Today it’s Pythagoras fighter. Not ashamed to say the music kind of slaps
