the fifth installment of my destiel flower shop AU Chapters: 1/? (likely 5) Summary: It is September 28th - Cas’ birthday. The Sunday starts off slow as Cas goes to his flower shop to prep for the week ahead, and Dean and Kelly lose no time preparing a surprise birthday party for him. Jimmy, Cas’ twin brother, his wife Amelia and daughter Claire join the planning too - last but(d) not least, they meet! There’s cats, chocolate cake, decorating of said cake (Claire helps Dean), and so much fluff Cas could die seeing the people most important to him do such a gesture for him.
“These look great, Kelly,” Dean said, petting Velma. Kelly smiled and started unpacking the balloons. But one vital thing was missing. “And where’s the cake?”
Kelly’s arms spasmed and yellow rose petals went flying everywhere. “WE FORGOT THE CAKE! Oh my God, what now?”
“Jesus, chill!” Dean tried to calm her down, but Kelly looked both terrified and disappointed in herself.
“I am a secretary to a city hall member,” she said, facepalming, “and I forgot a birthday cake! I keep track of dates and what not to forget and this happens? I am a terrible friend!”
What in the… Dean snapped out of his confusion and tried to console her. “Kelly, listen. Shit like that happens. You know what’s a good thing?”
“That we have balloons?”
