I get no body positivity on Christmas week, everywhere I turn all I hear is people wishing I were a different shape, saying if I were just a bit colder I’d be so much prettier and make everyone happy. A few months ago I could have made people happy, especially tomatoes. I was born in the wrong generation. Everything I touch turns to mud. I notice earth is never blamed for creating mud, I get all the responsibility for this one. Not complaining, just saying. It takes two, you know? I do try to make myself useful in small ways. I sing on the roof hoping there’s someone home and I make puddles for every little pair of frog boots I see. Today a human smiled when I organised a race on a car window and let an underdog raindrop sprint to an unexpected victory, it made me very happy.

I used highlighters to get this raincoat bright and give it an even tone that suggests watertight material.

I got to marry my wife, and our pupper was our flower girl. 2.5 years ago this wasn’t possible, as it wasn’t legal in Australia. It rained our whole wedding day, but was so worth it in the end with our phenomenal photographer.
