not romantic not platonic but a secret third thing [what would happen between earth and the moon if the earth stopped spinning as illustrated by xkcd randall munroe]
It was Crowley.
So the James Webb telescope took a picture of a infant star!!
The small glowing blob is protostar L1527! Caught in the glow of its sunrise-like creation the baby is only 100,00 years old! It can take up to 50 million years for a star to reach the size of our sun. This infant has a long time to go.
Located 460 light years away this is one hell of a childhood photo!
shit man this got me emotional
left: the Nebra sky disc, circa 1600 BCE, showing the Moon, Sun, and stars in gold on copper - the oldest depiction of the cosmos in the world
right: the Webb Space Telescope, July 2022, revealing thousands of baby galaxies forming in the early days of the universe - humankind’s deepest look into the sky

Cosmic Cliffs
I adore space dice so the moment I saw the James Webb Telescope images I knew I had to make them into dice. This is my attempt at recreating the cosmic cliffs photo. How did I do? (Numbers yet to be painted)
Moon, Jupiter and its Gallilean moons.
Hubble Telescope image vs. James Webb Telescope
seeing the photos from Webb up against photos from Hubble just makes me… I don’t even know like, wow! Look at that!
INFORMATION I WAS NOT PREPARED TO LEARN. MAYBE WE *ARE* ALONE. BECAUSE WE ARE SO *EARLY*. IF THERE IS EVER GALACTIC CIVILIZATION THEY WILL NOT REMEMBER US AT ALL. BECAUSE WE ARE NOTHING. CELLS, JUST BEGINNING TO FORM LIFE. SORRY FOR SCREAMING. BUT ARE YOU LISTENING. ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT IT.
The clearest picture of the sun ever recorded!
The Sun is not made of fire, its energy comes from nuclear fusion to its heart, where the temperature exceeds 15 million degrees and the pressure is immense. It melts hydrogen atoms, turning them into helium, releasing energy in the form of light and heat in the process.
Every second, it converts 600 million tonnes of hydrogen into 596 million tonnes of helium, the 4 million tonnes of missing matter is converted into energy - a process that will continue for the next 5 billion years.

Miss universe🌙 ✨
Aja: “Humans think that they are the center of the universe.”
Krel: “They’re several million light years away from that, actually.”
Confirmation in 3Below S1E3, Mind Over Matter, that Earth is not the geographic center of the universe in Tales of Arcadia (unless Akiridion astronomers are wrong, I guess), and therefore the magical center of the universe described in the movie is different; like how ‘magnetic north’ doesn’t perfectly match up with ‘true north’.
