Long week at work, got home at 6 am from filming a weirdly sad ep on a weirdly sad night. But I was able to finish this damn skirt that I have been working on for the past month, which is great. It needs to be blocked still so the bottom edge will lay down better and I still need to sew a slip to the inside but hey, these bizarre colors I picked out actually work, to my delight. You shoulda seen the colors I was using in my first draft. HIDEOUS. I pulled this ensemble together just for trying on the skirt and taking this pic and then I put my house clothes and house shoes on again.
