I love "only you are my equal" aspect of durgetash. Because what if there was some casual intimacy and affection - but it can work, they can allow themselves to experience it, just because they know the other is on the same page. Because the other still know they are the same powerful and cruel person devoted to their god and vice versa. Because it is fine to indulge as long as it is not perceived as a weakness and only the other one can truly see and understand that...
