RETURN OF THE ‘EVERYONE IS CORA’ MEME
The amount of times Cora lays her hands on Regina is really an interesting and creepy as fuck acting choice between Hernshey and Parrilla.
This is not a daughter this is a china doll. I’m surprised Cora wasn’t suggesting clothes for her. Which she’ll do in 4.20. In the second gif Cora is even physically moving Regina to follow along.
I suppose we will find out in 5B if this is true but it does beg the quesiton…
If she would have been enough if she’d had her heart….
Why wasn’t she when she had never taken it out?
You are asking the real questions.

“You’ve kept this from us,” Regina seethed, her dark eyes blazing into her mother’s own enraged stare. “She’s been my handmaid all these years, my only friend, and you never even -”
“What exactly is there to say about her, you insolent, meddling girl?” Cora hissed at Regina, and pointed directly to the auburn-haired woman beside her daughter. “She may be mine indeed, but there is no royal blood that flows through those envious veins of hers.”
“I happen to have a name, mother dearest.” Zelena spat venomously, moving in front of her younger mistress into a protective stance, as her fingertips cackled with emerald sparks.
“And I will not have you speak to my little sister in such a manner!”
Alright, so any of my followers like Charmed? It was legit my first ever favorite television show.....I have been a pretty dedicated fan since it came out. I was 3 if that should say anything. So naturally when I first saw Rose in Once, I fangirled a little....(a lot).
Anyway, just totally caught this, but in one episode, the girls must fight off fairy tales.
So, Paige is basically the target of the Snow White fairy tale.
Naturally she takes a fucking bite out of the infamous poison apple.
thus turning her into Charmed's version of Snow White.
There's even fucking 7 dwarfs, guys.
Cora also said at one point "A bride must be snow white." Which has far more irony added to it now, than before.
Let us also not forget, Cora married a man named Henry. Paige also married a man named Henry.
Basically, Cora was fucking Snow at some point and was poisoned by her own daughter.
And, on top of that, in an episode from season 4, Paige had to confront her past life, an evil enchantress. Also, the evil enchantress wants nothing to do with the prince she has put under a love spell except concieve his child so her offspring will rule his kingdom. Sounds like someone else we know.....
(That would make Cora, Paige's past life basically.)
So with all this being said, I now have this idea that Cora has two sisters out there somewhere, half sisters, who don't know about her, who also practice magic, but never let greed and power corrupt them. Also, Cora's mother did the same to her, as Cora did to Zelena. Cora's mother couldn't keep her because she was conceived out of wedlock and she was afraid she would be punished, so she gave her up to a miller.
Henry Sr: A Silent Partner (Essay in 8 Parts)
Prompt: (Anon) Henry Sr., one of the woobiest woobies to ever woobie.
Oh, Henry Sr. You’re one of the few people to unconditionally love both Cora and Regina. You’re also one of the reasons why Regina has such a warped view of what relationships should be, and your lifelong passivity has ensured that Regina continues the cycle of abuse that Cora taught her. Love is weakness, indeed.
The Sears Portrait Studio mysteriously burned down soon afterwards
Now, now— Cora helped too
A whole essay to myself? Is that okay, Cora?
Ready to meekly venture into the life of the world’s saddest man? That is, if it’s not too much trouble? Then let’s go!
Interesting read actually with some funny little bits here and there.
And just when you thought your mom posing as your eleven year-old son was bad, she pulls this shit.....
Okay, first of all, we can really all agree we disliked Cora, maybe not all the time, and there's no doubt she did love Regina, but it's kinda hard to love someone fully without a beating heart inside your chest. Rumple once said that Cora was dangerous because she had no heart, but Regina was even more dangerous because she did have one. The fact is, even without her heart, Regina could love like nothing was different, because she felt things with her whole soul, as Snow said.
Anyway, Cora and Regina's relationship was obviously rocky; Always had been. Every time Cora is around Regina, Regina reverts her feelings back to being that young girl, to being a child. The Evil Queen may not have had any weaknesses, but for Regina, it was her mother. Cora wanted Regina to be the Queen. To have power. And Regina didn't want that. So, this is why this episode both makes me angry and terribly sad.
When Cora finally faces Regina (disguised as Henry to get to her, both smart and a terrible trick) she tries to mend things between them. Regina thinks this will never happen, too much damage has been down. And just when Regina thinks she can set things right, to show Henry she hadn't killed Archie, that she was truly trying to change for him, her mother pry's away at her carefully constructed walls; Knowing exactly what her daughter really wanted. And what she didn't have. She used Henry, once again, against her. Rubbing salt in her wounds. Telling her that as long as Emma and the Charmings were here, Henry would never be hers (a lie); she basically tells her she'll never change, and even if she did, no one would believe it. (another lie). And once again, Cora is using Regina to gain something for herself. She wants her daughter back, yes, but she's willing to fight dirty for her. Regina is trying to redeem herself for Henry, because he wants that from her, and she knows, has experienced, that if she uses evil, magic even, to have Henry, he still wouldn't be hers; He'd drift away from her, resent her, even hate her, just as she had done to her mother. And she didn't want to be her mother. Even when she knows her mother won't play fair, she thinks for a split second, she could join forces with her mother and still have Henry, because deep down, Regina still loves her mother, wants that relationship, even after all she's done. Cora clouds Regina's judgement, smothers her with her past as if to continue to fuel the darkness. It's not until Cora's death that Regina slowly starts to try to redeem herself again. For Henry. Always for Henry. And she recently discovers that Henry would still love her, even with Emma and the Charmings around. And Regina will always fight for Henry's happiness, even if that means tolerating Emma and her parents, and being the hero, and giving him up without any memory of her. She will always fight for him and do it the way that would benefit Henry the most. Not like her mother had done to her. She doesn't want to disappoint Henry like her mother had disappointed her.
So I can't handle this scene because Cora knows this upsets Regina. Knows it hurts her to know that the relationship she once had with her little prince, will never be the same; there will always be Emma and Snow and David and now Hook. She says these things in hopes it will drive Regina back to darkness. And watching it, it physically pains me to see Regina feel this way, like she will never be worthy of anyone unless she uses her magic, her power, to get it. And that for as much changing she has done, she is told she'll always be evil, that she can't change for her son like she thinks she can. And I hurt when Regina hurts, and I hate the very person who hurts her in that moment. I hate the scenes where we see people tear her down and tell her she's nothing without power and that the one thing she truly wants, love, is weakness and that she'll always be evil. I hate it because we turn into what people constantly tell us we are. And Regina, later on from this, finally begins to find her way, move one from her past truly. All Regina wants is to be happy and too be free, and she fights for it relentlessly, continually, even when she gets screwed every season. And this will always be why I love Regina because she's a fighter and never gives up.

When Fandoms Collide. Love Rose as Young Cora!!!
charmed appreciation week ⏩ day three → favorite sister-ship(s) - piper x paige “Who are you?… I’m her sister.”
So, because Rose McGowan played young Cora on Once Upon a Time, they need to somehow write in that Cora had two more sisters, sisters that left her because she chose magic and power over family, and have the sisters played by Holly Marie Combs and Alyssa Milano.
