Anyway I think on some level tumblr wasn't good for me
Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed connecting with people on here and I really appreciated some of the friendships that I created. but if it's just a platform for an obsession with an absolutely ridiculous show that brought absolutely no value whatsoever to my life in the long run, then it might not be the healthiest situation. for me, it took reconnecting with my career, my friends, and now my life partner to realize just how far down the rabbit hole I had gone while convincing myself that it brought me some measure of happiness. I recognize that this isn't necessarily the case for everyone. I wish you all so well. Whatever brings you real happiness and fulfilment I am all for. Enjoy life, connect with others, challenge ourselves, be vulnerable, be brave.

Every child matters
For those who are unaware of what this post is about, it's for Orange Shirt Day. It is a Candian holiday held on September 30th. People wear orange shirts on this day to honor the children who survived Canada's atrocious Residential Schools system and to remember the children who did not survive it. Please take the time today to honor the many Natives, First Nations people, and other indigenous people whom this system has affected; they deserve to be remembered ✊🏽
