http://www.wsj.com/articles/BL-LB-51793 This is honest to god one of the funniest things I think I have ever seen. The idea of giving a baby a theme party based on a local personal injury attorney is something i am so jealous of I dont know how to properly put it into words. Also the fact that the lawyer didn’t come to the party somehow makes it even funnier.
this is the kind of content i came here for
he didnt come to the party because he sees the baby as a future opponent
what the fuck
I admit I don’t know how a child’s brain works but as an adult the greatest sign of respect I feel capable of giving a child is to act as if they are prophesized to destroy me when they come of age.
Do you have anything on Joseph Morgan's brother blood stuff 🤔 like pictures yet
I have no idea who that is or why you might think I have anything about him (or his brother?), so I kindly ask that you stop sending me requests for him. Thank you.

He picks you up with no manners, thinking the both of you wouldn't or shouldn't talk (douchebag move), and made no effort to make sure you were comfortable(another red flag). I don't believe you should touch a persons stereo/radio, but a guest in your car should be made comfortable, especially if it's a date. Scream metal does not set the mood. IMO both people dodged each other.
Part of why I used to like to just have someone over for dinner.
If they think I am a creeper who just wants them at my house and she refuses, cool. Then not a match. If she comes over then she has her own car and the ability to leave any time. Also if all that is good, then asking a woman to help you do prep work in the kitchen goes a long way to allow each party to get a read on each other and provides a degree of intimacy but without it getting weird on a first date. Re music, I like the idea of firing up youtube or whatever and taking turns trying to expose each other to new fun songs/bands as well as finding common interests and points of contact. Maybe even the opportunity to dance. Avoid drinking or limit to bare minimum cause you don't want accidents before there is even a relationship.
Inviting someone directly to your house for a first date? That would be . . . awkward.
see the thing about star trek is, the thing that the new treks don't really get i think, is that star trek is fundamentally about asking many different questions. and like sure those questions are philosophical some of the time like "what if the alien slaves like being slaves, should we do something about that?" and "in a universe with so many different life forms, why do we draw the line regarding sentience at artificial life forms?" and stuff, but also fundamentally star trek is about asking "what if you could get pregnant from holding hands and you started growing extra nipples as well" (such is life) and "if a ghost fucked your grandma and your mom and wanted to fuck you, would you fuck him in the name of tradition?" (yes) and "what if the local AI got really into larping and sherlock holmes?" (join him). like its about Having Fun and i cant enjoy a star trek that isnt like that. i dont want a 50 episode arc about the responsibility of captaincy, i want a 40 minute discussion about what it would be like if you were suddenly a lizard thats then never mentioned again.
This is what’s missing now that we did away with “monster of the week” shows and everything is a 10 episode continuing story that only occasionally has logical breaking points between the episodes. In old Trek, you can have the two parter where Captain Picard has to decide between breaking the prime directive (again) or letting a pre-warp civilization that one of his emotionally compromised crew members suddenly identifies with die out, and then the next week you can have Worf and Troi stuck in the holodeck with Worf’s son while a fake Data dressed like a cowboy tries to kill them. The serious arc is over and done with once the two-parter ends. It’s a contained story. It isn’t something that ever needs to be referenced again because it’s served its purpose. So you can have the fun, weird episode follow it with no tonal whiplash or sacrificing of the main plot. But with the way seasons of shows are set up these days, you can’t really take the time to do that. Everything needs to be serious and dire, if that’s the starting tone, because you’re really only telling one story. You’re just taking 10 hours to do it.
This is why I’ve always preferred episodic television over arc-driven television. It allows for a lot more variety. I think the fourth season of Enterprise was done in a cool way, having a mix of standalone, two- and three-part episodes. You can still have story arcs, but they're contained to no more than a few episodes, then you move on to a new story.
