the account that first broke laurel lance’s death made a tweet (x) saying arrow was bringing katie cassidy back for season six and a pap said they were told she would would be back by the end of the season 5 (x) and my hopes have just skyrocketed because i’m thinking of oliver reuniting with laurel in the past and seeing her again in the present, and the parallels of getting her back, but i’m also thinking of black siren getting that redemption arc, and i’mma need someone to leak this shit already because i miss the real black canary dammit and hella stressed it’s gonna be another “lol jks” guggenfuck fuckery

I still love Arrow but killing off Laurel was a huge mistake. It did nothing to advance the season’s plot; pure shock value was all it was. Katie Cassidy added such a spark to the show that has been sorely missing ever since. Felicity should have been the one to get killed off. Her shtick was funny when she was just a cute nerdy low-level IT girl who popped up occasionally to lend a hand. But ever since she was made a main character, it seems like all she’s ever done is constantly bitch and moan and cry, nagging poor Oliver and making him feel bad about his decisions.
