The women at the golden globes should be ashamed for their behaviour.
This is not feminism by a long shot, it was an excuse to bitch and be the little fucking attention whores that they are and it repulses me and disgusts me and makes me feel embarrassed to be a women when I know there’s idiots like this supposed to be representing me.
First of all how fucking petty you have to be to turn a public event into your own personal pissing match and gender war? There was no need to fucking say the things that got said and take the attention away from the fact you’re at an awards event not a goddamn political debate, and of course it was only the women who did this cause the men were smart and knew if they retaliated the media would destroy them, but I do not approve of these women making the men feel guilty for being men. You can see their reactions when they say this shit, the men are uncomfortable. It’s not fucking right and the women should be ashamed.
Take the all male directors for example, that was fucking awful for her to point that out. Have you maybe stopped to consider, coincidences exist, or understand that it just so happens the best fucking movies were made by men. Being men doesn’t remove their skill and talent and ability to have EARNED THEIR PLACE as the best directors this year. You’re also petty enough to bitch but if I’m not mistaken one of those directors was up there with fucking WONDER GODDAMN WOMAN BACKING EM.
Bitching about the non-existent Wage gap having to point out how much celebrities make even though it’s none of your goddamn business, that’s shameful. The wage gap is a case by case thing and it doesn’t exist as a whole anymore, it’s just the world we live in accept it. You can’t see more change until you accept the change already on the go.
I just fucking hate how these women are blaming men for their troubles. Here’s a thought, if you’re gonna take one goddamn thing from my rant, take this:
The movie Industry has a lot of men working in it, so the chances they will be the ones to have the skill and talent to earn nominations is higher than women just based on numbers. HOWEVER, if a woman put in the time and effort deserved to be put into something, you can bet your ass she’d be up there too, but clearly no women could match the skill and effort put off by the men this year so you’re just going to have to accept that.
Here’s the thing though, instead of bitching about the men and complaining their ruining the industry, WHY DONT YOU HAUL UP YOUR PANTY HOSE AND ENCOURAGE YOUNG GIRLS TO TAKE AN INTEREST IN THE INDUSTRY MORE. WHY NOT ENCOURAGE WOMEN ALREADY IN THE INDUSTRY TO PUT THEIR BEST FUCKING FOOT FOWARD NEXT YEAR.
If you want fuck change, being a bitch for attention isn’t going to change anything, doing the above however will. These women didn’t care about equality, and clearly aren’t true feminists if they’re blaming the men for being men, they were just looking for attention and I guess they got it. Me personally, I’m gonna keep fighting for gender equality by actually doing shit that’s productive.
Also the day we pick a women to win something just because she’s a women vs a man who put talent skill and effort into something. Is the day we officially enter the gates of hell.
To all the men effected by this abuse during the golden globes this year - you fucking deserve to be where you are, you have the talent and the skill, the effort, time and aspiration to be where you are right now. You earned your place. Don’t let these women or any women make you feel bad for being a man. Your gender does not define, limit, nor negate your skills.
To all the women mislead by this bullshit this year - hating men is not the solution to getting recognized. You have the talent, skill, effort and time to get up there, to be recognized. You just have to put your best foot forward and make the change you want to see, I know you can do it, but, you can only do it once you accept the mindset to change, and not just sit back and blame it on the men.
Prove em all wrong and give us some good movies and talent next year. I eagerly await to see the fruits of your labour.
Your gender does not define you.
