My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

Let me introduce you to the University of Toronto protest that happened in 2012.  Warren Farrell was holding a lecture discussing men’s rights, men’s issues and problems that they face in society and this is what happened.

Feminist activists embodied the exact opposite of peaceful protest and had to be forced back by a multitude of police because they were physically barring the entrance to the campus building, keeping many from entering to listen to the lecture.

Later on the fire alarm was pulled without cause, an act which is punishable by law.  Curiously though, no charges were ever filed and no investigation was put toward finding out who pulled the alarm to disrupt this lecture.  

This is what happens when people who are concerned about male DV victims talk.  This is what happens when men try to find their own space to work out how to handle the problems they face in society.  Left and right, you have these self-righteous people who are framing the narrative to make it look as though they’re preemptively silencing hate speech, rather than silencing a man’s freedom of speech.

If you want people to stop bringing up male victims in the same conversation talking about female victims, stop silencing the people who are trying to talk about male victims on their own time.  Thank you.

If you were one of those people simping for Amber Heard you need to take your L and admit that you contributed to this horrible woman’s continued abuses. None of this “yeah but Johnny hubuhubu...” or “yeah but let’s not forget all the female victims of-” shut the fuck up. This is about one thing: A man who was physically, mentally, and emotionally abused and whose career was irreparably damaged based on a woman’s actions and lies. None of that irrelevant shit you want to bring up to downplay it comes into the picture.

I honestly feel so fucking bad for men who have to put up with mentally, emotionally and/or physically abusive women. Very often male victims of domestic violence get ignored or dismissed on the basis of "women aren't as strong as men" and it's sickening. A lot of abuse victims are in denial about their situation, claiming things like "well, i must've done something to make her mad", "she isn't always like that", "she isn't that strong so it doesn't matter", ect.

I'll never forget the time I saw serious bruises on my mom's bf's arm and asking about it, only for her to reply with "Well, ask him what he said to make me mad.". I witnessed HER call the police on HIM because he gently pushed her back since she was about to hit him over the head with a glass bottle. The cops dismissed it as just 'typical family drama'.

If you're a man who is being abused, here are some resources. Stay safe and don't endure abuse from someone just because they are a woman.
