Don’t make a guy regret opening up to you 

Don’t tell others what he told you (not your family, not your friends). Don’t bring it up in a future argument and throw it back in his face. Just don’t. Nobody wants that. If they open up to you, they trust you and we all want someone that we trust that we can talk to about stuff like that. If you do that, he won’t trust you and won’t open up to you in the future
