Iirc you've published a physical Finnish version before, but I'm just curious if there's ever a physical English version being sold anywhere? Or if you ever plan to publish one in the future? Cos I just have a massive need for holding angry Jon in my hand 🤲

Currently the only print version is the Swedish edition. Scoring a North American publisher sounds awesome on paper but there might be obstacles... mainly that my work is a passion project and above all else I must have 100% control over it (thankfully my Swedish publisher have been cool about this).
My nightmare scenario is a publisher marketing the comic for teens (which they tend to do) and then forcing me to tone it down. That wouldn't fly because I want this story to mature and escalate over time. I want to include sex stuff.
But yeah... that said it's still a comic that's optimized for printing and I'd also love to hold the English edition in my hands someday. That's a special kind of joy. For now it's best that I focus on drawing though. It's a long-ass project and the pages won't finish themselves.

Hi! Thanks for asking. Long story short, I've been struggling with health problems for a few years and the comic's on hold until I get better. After fixing my iron deficiency I'm still mysteriously fatigued and what little energy I have is mostly spent on a side hustle that pays my rent far better than comics ever could lol. I love comics but I don't love how little they pay 😭
That said I do hope to finish Velvet Necklace someday! There's so much work I want to do but my body's not cooperating. Fingers crossed the doctor can figure something out at my next appointment

Eh it's fine. I'm just tickled by the uhhhhh lack of media literacy. Dude is offended and seething over a "romance" when there's literally zero romance in the text? Do guys like this not understand how shipping works? It boggles the mind
Oh nooo some dude read 8 chapters complaining about Jon the entire time but decided to quit right after Jon got kicked out of the story 😭 ??? I guess hating him was the entire reason he read it... comments were very funny though A+
