Obligatory Introduction.

I'm 👾, you can call me a lot of things, but Arcade is probably closest to the vibes I want. They/it pronouns, please.

I'm known as 👾 Anon on like 2 blogs but I wanted a place to reblog 'n talk lol.

JJBA+Horror is my jam, but I am, fun fact, multi-focused.

I'll keep those to my main, which I am not sharing here yet, if ever. I'm tiny, but yeah. Anyway.

If canon JJBA won't give me the horror content I so desperately desire, I'll make my own!

See you around!

...........so I blame @cyphyree completely for this because this post has begun rotting my thoughts inside out for the last several hours and I thought is I just sat down to draw some basic sketches I’d get the Vibes out but-

before you ask, yes. Yes I have impulsively started a fic draft for this

do I promise I'll finish it? No, but at the very least if I don't you'll get a VERY detailed bullet point list since my notes are currently 1.5k words and I’m not even to the specific note planning yet

I poked around some fics about Jotaro and Giorno meeting for the first time, and in a lot of them the two eventually sit down in an office to Talk. And it got me thinking, how else they could meet

Like what if there was a pretentious Venetian masquerade ball that SWF sent Jotaro to attend because, I dunno, someone found the Red Stone of Aja that Joseph lost and it's up for auction there. And Giorno as Don was also at the masquerade to meet important people.

And then everyone on the masquerade got trapped there because.... uh...... Rival Italian Stand User Mafia hijack the party to steal the treasures and take all these important/rich attendees hostage.... or something.

Also Josuke, Okuyasu, Yukako and Koichi are there. For vacation. They totally were not supposed to be at the Fancy People Party but they snuck in anyway

Also vampires. Italian Stand User Mafia Vampires.

Yeah.

(............. if anyone ever wanna take this and write it, please feel free and tag me to it lol i wanna read this now and there are so many better writers than me out there :'u )

*kicks door down*

I may have trouble juggling everything but I may as well try because this is perfect for some ideas I've had rattling around in my head- there'd be like two non- enemy OCS of mine there because I have a au I'm very attached to- (if you're interested, it's the Planetarium au, I have a snippet of Kyuuma's first encounter with Giorno on my blog, under the title The Emissary and The Ladybug. She, and a SPW agent probably there for backup would be the two ally ocs, the rest are enemies.)

but oh my god even the idea of it being the Stone of Aja that's the prize...

...also because it's an image that will not leave, the idea of one of the masquerade partygoers straight up wearing a stone mask with like. A string makes me cackle because. Hey, Chekhov's gun.

We'll see if I can do this.

5am rambly idea; the more powerful a persons hamon is, the more they seem kind of.... off and unsettling to normal people. not in the same way a vampire would be since hamon is inherently much less threatening but its still something a normal person should not be able to do that effects their appearance/behavior in barely noticeable ways (bonus: jonathan going from kind of Weird to Very Weird after zeppeli gives him all of his hamon and even dio has fight or flight alarm bells going off in his head during his fight against jonathan)

ough I ADORE when people are Just A Little Bit Off because of some kind of magic or another. Like. It's subtle things. Little things that you only really notice subconsciously

their breathing isn't quite right, the rhythm isn't the same as most people and yet they never seem to be out of breath no matter what

their eyes are almost unnaturally bright, they don't glow nor does the color change but it's just brighter. Almost like the reflection on the water at noon, like the colors around them are suddenly much duller, like the light is coming from them

they're always so warm even in the coldest most unforgiving weather, but at the same time they never show any signs of fever or discomfort

Ideas like this scratch a very specific writing itch of mine-

Extend it to stand users- like people without stands may not be able to see the stand or maybe only specific effects of stands, but they can still see the users, and they seem Just A Bit Off after awakening a stand.

Being just a little more limber. Accentuating parts of their personalities more.

Like they've almost been... Added to, from the outside.

*drags in the Crusaders as an easy set of examples* let's break down some possibilities!

Avdol always having the scent of smoke or incense around him, even when he hasn't used it in ages. It's calming. That subtle air of mystery that helped him in fortune telling, but it's just a bit easier to trust him.

Iggy becoming even more slippery than before. Sure he nearly got caught before, but he seems to disappear even easier. Out of the grips of people who want to catch him. Always just a little sandy. An extra bit of mischief that leads to new habits. Getting into places he shouldn't be able to, even after being taken in by the Foundation.

Joseph regains some of his hamon-gained oddness, even though it's been years since he trained properly. It's easier for him to breathe. Easier to laugh, and draw others into his amusement. He regains the ability to predict the actions of others, like he's reading them like a book, or reading their signals before they happen. He seems to know the little things that will happen. A subconscious compass, and he seems to glow just a bit more. He regains decades of internal youth in just a couple months.

Jotaro was always hard to read, but in certain moments, it feels easier. He seems stronger, almost, more quiet and yet louder when he finally lets loose. A cool air, knowledge of being safe around him once he's known long enough, and that sharp threat of danger that's accentuated by fear. At the right angle, it looks like he glints with stars. They show in cold, calculated eyes, where his hat meets his hair, in cigarette smoke.

Kakyoin's is a bit less obvious, but there's a tendency of those who speak to him to not think twice about the actual words. Accidental manipulation. His eyes seem to glint like gemstones in the right light.

Polnareff seeming almost... faster. More eager to defend and avenge. Being in the right place at the right time. If he picked up a sword, he'd use it like he had been training for years. He doesn't always get as hurt as he should. Like the damage glanced off skin-tight invisible armor that isn't always there. He's able to survive just a little longer. Get just a little further.

You

you understand everything going on in my brain you funky amazing human being this is p e r f e c t

I'm probably going to expand on this because my brain went "do the rest of part 3' and I am already getting ideas for nearly every single stand user there-

Yes even the usually forgotten minions. This is definitely going to need a post of its own lol-

The idea of Stands being one's soul plus Slightly Off things... things that aren't quite right, aren't quite normal... and people Without a stand don't know what is wrong with them, just that there is something wrong.

The Emissary and the Ladybug

Test snippet for Kyuuma in Part Five.

( @starry-blue-echoes I have made a thing.)

There is no sound when the woman appears, in her nice suit and faintly glowing eyes.

Gold Experience screams nothing about her. She isn't dead, inorganic, something able to be changed, but she isn't a living being, either. The blue haired woman is something else. A hundred questions left unasked.

"Giorno Giovanna." He can't place her accent. She plays with a coin, held in black painted nails that almost looked like claws. One side a star, the other a heart. It's gold, but no sane place would take it.

"What do you want."

"Straight to the point." Her laugh rings in the alley. Then she finally smiles, and her teeth are too white, too perfect, too sharp.

Something buzzes in his mind. A familiarity that couldn't be explained.

"I don't want anything from you. Except perhaps a lack of violence." She spins the coin. Flips it and plucks it out of the air. Nonchalant, though she clearly already knows who he is.

"Then why are you here."

"You're starved for allies. That's not the only thing you need, but the only thing you can rationalize right now. Consider it returning a favor for someone you never met." The smile had mischief lacing it like a drug.

"I am not an enemy." Her words are smooth. They wash over the mind and curl around the heart. Yet, they're still true. Regardless of the poisonous, unnatural charisma clouding them.

"Why would you help me."

Even his mind and hands accustomed to pickpocketing couldn't pinpoint the moment she stole the photograph from his hidden wallet. The photograph of his father.

"I already told you. I'm returning a favor." The photo is handed back, and she reveals the side the coin landed on. The golden heart reflects the glint of the distant streetlight, and the light in his own eyes.

It's snatched back up before he could get a look at the words engraved in it.

"I'll see you when it's opportune, Giorno Giovanna." Red eyes almost glint pink as she turns away, walking calmly back down the alley until a corner is turned, and the woman vanishes as quickly as she came, into the night. A bit out laugh following her form until she could no longer be seen.

Anonymous asked:

oh are we doing fun au night? ok au where the land of jojo's bizarre universe is just like dnd for all the stats and mathy bits. Like they don't have the same races or class or magic or whatever, they all just have a page with all their stats and notable information and everyone has to roll dice for almost everything (except for this where you're so good at doing it there's virtually no way to mess it up, like ringing a doorbell or something) but anyway I just think it'd be funny that Jonathan rolls like a 19 on the killing blow for Dio but because it wasn't a perfect 20 he barely survives. Just a thought

-fanfic author anon

SJRDBNVJDBFVDFBVD THIS REMINDS ME OF AN AU I MADE FOR A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SHOW WAY BACK WHEN

basically the way the AU went was that at birth, every single person in the world has a special set of dice. It's impossible to steal, destroy or lose them, and any attempt to do so will backfire horribly on the person who tries. The stats and modifiers you mentioned are invisible to everyone except the person they belong to, and dice rolls happen whether the person wants it to or not, but most people prefer rolling the dice themselves for some semblance of control

so some possible thoughts:

  • what if Jonathan did roll a Nat 20 but because of Dio's new Vampiric Modifiers he managed to just barely survive
  • in turn, during the Stardust fight, Jotaro then manages to just barely defeat Dio as a bit of fun irony
  • Joseph's That Guy who seems to be perpetually cursed with shitty rolls EXCEPT for when it actually matters and he randomly starts getting back to back Nat 20s
  • Pucci is arguably even more of a fanatic this time because the Dice are essentially a "physical" manifestation of Fate

Some other ideas:

  • Holly rolled low on 'resist curse' at the start of Stardust Crusders.
  • Bucciarati's gang sans Narancia rolling relatively low on perception during the Clash & Talking Heads fight.
  • Some stands can interfere with the Dice in some way, such as altering gravity to make them land prematurely or Kiss doubling one of Ermes's own dice.
  • The dice use whichever numerals the person is most familiar with.
  • Dragons Dream works in part by finding which surfaces will cause the dice to stop on optimal numbers.
  • For humor, FF doesn't have one set of dice but a whole bunch of miniscule sets of dice.
  • The dice look different for each person, each one having a different picture that grows more complex the more life experiences they have. By the time of Part 4, Joseph's are practically tiny murals.
  • These patterns are also affected by their stands. Joseph's get images of purple vines, Kakyoin's are covered in blue tentacles, Koichi gets special pictures on the 1, 2, and 3 of each die, each aligning with an Act, and every numeral 0 looks like an egg.

OOOOOOOOOOOO Y E S S S S S I'M LOVING ALL OF THIS

What if Holly's Stand almost serves as a timer in a way. Let's say she rolled a 14, decently high but not high enough. Every few days her Stand will move the dice in a way that makes the number lower, and everyone's terrified for what might happen if it reaches 1

Narancia was so freaking frustrated the whole time because cmon! Look!!! Your dice are literally telling you you suck at noticing this!!! Unfortunately for him, just because you can see the dice telling you you're missing something doesn't mean they'll see what they're missing

Ooooooo the Stand Manipulations could be fun to play with. I'd imagine changing the outcome of dice is risky, especially when done intentionally. Maybe it's kinda like a "however you change this roll, the opposite will happen later to balance it out" type situation going on. However, things that affect how the person throws the dice wouldn't have that. Ex: like you just said, Dragon's Dream

for Foo I'm seeing two ways it can go. Either 1) all the dice rolls average out into what actually happens, or 2) every single roll happens at the same time but in tiny ways, and I don't know which ones would be funnier

I am LOVING the idea of tiny images being added to the dice sides. Any moments or decisions that have a lasting impact on the person leave some kind of mark. Sometimes they can be pictures or symbols, sometimes they can be "scars" on the dice, or the dice's color can change completely

Joseph's are absolutely painted in marks, so much so that the numbers are almost unreadable. Star marks, golden electricity, bubbles that were once blue now turned red, the Aja, a Stone Mask, one side of the dice is a stark silvery metal, gold wedding bands, purple vines, plane wings, and so much more. You could spend hours staring at his dice and yet there will still be more things to find and every single one has a story behind it

but then in stark contrast to this, Weather Report. His dice are completely blank. Pure white with some clouds and a simple, nondescript font. For the longest time, they're completely markless. They change a bit after he meets Emporio, then Anasui, then the rest, but for the most part they stay empty, more like the dice of an inexperienced child than that of a fully grown man. But then the second he gets his memories back, they become painted in color and most importantly scars. The white is almost completely gone, replaced by a black rot and red the color of blood. Chips and cracks litter the whole dice, every picture and symbol nearly made indiscernible from the rest.

when Weather dies and his dice slowly fade away, the clouds are missing

Emporio thinks they look nice on his own and often finds himself running his fingers along the patterns

(also I'd imagine that when Koichi's dice gain an Echoes Themed Number every time it evolves it gives Koichi a minor crisis because Wait Does This Mean Echoes Can Evolve 20 Times-)

I just had an interesting idea for Hayato to make use of regarding this. An interesting interaction Bites The Dust could have with the dice.

When under the effects of Bites the Dust, the dice for each person will always land in a certain order in each loop. For example, Hayato may get dice rolls of 3, 17, 15, 5, 12, and 8 in the first loop. He could then plan out his actions in the next loop so that less important actions recieve rolls that are Fated to be low, while the really important actions get rolls that are Fated to be high.

👀👀👀 ooooooooo that’s a fun idea

for example, he tries stopping the stuff from breaking to bait the 3 roll, and then gets a 17 and 15 when he uses to phone to get Josuke to come early. This way while he only had subpar rolls left, he just has to buy time until help can arrive. It doesn't matter if his attempt to kill Kira fails, it wasn't supposed to succeed to begin with

it also helps that Hayato would also know Kira's rolls and plan around them as well

Okay I needed to look at this au and add a thing because I realized Kyuuma's stand, Pentacle Ace, would act so weird in this au.

Or I'm trying to make it somewhat balanced, her dice would look so cool by the time she made it to part 5. That's another thing, though.

So... Pentacle Ace works by essentially reading a situation, gauging whether Kyuuma would lose or gain a chance if she did something differently, and gives her the option to redo a situation.

I will say Pentacle Ace can't revert *only* dice rolls. There needs to be something extra for the ability to activate. ...but from there, she can redo the situation until the desired outcome is achieved.

Note. This doesn't fix dice rolls. Each roll is unique to the loop, and the exact outcome. So. Theoretically she could redo a situation infinitely, but it takes one hell of a mental toll.

She's also the only one aware of the redos. The only one remembered by other parties is the last one, whether she succeeds or fails. Once a redo loop starts, she has to either end it herself, or succeed.

A caveat for the dice. She can't get nat 1s or nat 20s in this state. The longer she goes, the more she redoes, the more the available numbers start to shrink until she's stuck rolling tens or elevens. It forces her to the middle of the curve.

So it's a giveaway for her ability if she starts rolling consecutive tens and just barely passing/failing checks.

It's also a giveaway of her ability if she takes a really high roll and then a low roll pm something else because she got what she needed.

The image of her being so done with a situation that she's only aware of and she's just redoing a half hour for a couple checks because it explicitly started at that point-

"12, 9, 17, 6, 11... That works. Freaking finally."

So I just had

SUCH an angsty idea for the SCP Jotaro AU regarding Jolyne

What if Jotaro not being around wasn’t his choice. What if the SWF did some tests on Jolyne when she was born and while she seemed mostly human, they limited his contact with her because they didn’t want to risk her also becoming another SCP or for him to influence her

What if Jotaro had to fight tooth and nail to get the Foundation let him go save his daughter instead of some other agent. Heck, what if they didn’t agree and he hijacked the mission not giving a damn about the consequences

and what if….. what if when everything’s over and Pucci is killed and things become normal again because of Jotaro’s extra abilities…… Jolyne is forced to witness these consequences

she has to see her father treated as less than human, as some kind of dangerous monster who could lash out at any moment, as something incapable of thought or emotion like some kind of animal, not even being given the basic respect of calling him by his name and instead calling him by his SCP number

And she has to see her father just accept it. And its…… almost frightening, if she’s being honest. Confusing too. Barely hours prior she’d seen him spit insults and glares and beat a man nearly to death in a protective rage. He’s seemed to strong, so untouchable, nothing like the limp body she’d dragged to the submarine all those months ago and now……

Now he’s reminding her eerily of back then

He doesn’t fight as they put him in special cuffs, doesn’t so much as glare as they mistreat and insult him, if anything he goes through the motions with a practiced ease and that’s when it hits her that it’s because this is practiced he’s done this before he’s been treated like this before, treated like this enough times that he thinks it’s normal-

Maybe Jolyne tries to help him. Maybe Jotaro stops her. Maybe he explains that this is just protocol, that he’ll be put in an isolated cell on watch for a few weeks and if he’s good they’ll let him out again

She hates how much he knows about this

All I can say for certain is that in the next few days before that Jolyne is going to have a very emotional call with her grandma Holly

O o o o h

I have thoughts

Multiple options, take your pick:

  • Jolyne infiltrates the Speedwagon Foundation and starts changing it from the inside, climbing the ranks until she take over the whole place and makes things better for the scps inside.
  • The foundation used to be a good place where supernatural creatures and entities were protected and taken care of. This was Speedwagon's original view for the foundation, a place that Jonathan Joestar would be proud of. But somewhere down the line, the foundation fell into "new management" and became corrupt. And who else better to fix it than the Joestars, where it all began.
  • Jotaro is indeed used to this treatment and it completely despondent through the whole thing. But in his mind, he's just going through his plans. He's actually been slowly turning the tides behind the scenes at the foundation and is about to start essentially a revolt. Declare better working and living conditions for workers and Scps alike, and take down the corrupt management.
  • Getting the rest of the Joestar family and all their allies involved, after Jolyne makes that call to Holly, they get everyone connected to the Joestar Family (even passione - hey look! Polnareff is there, and he ain't happy his buddy is locked away again) and storm the Speedwagon Foundation HQ and demand they release Jotaro.
  • Speaking of, there's one more thing. You mentioned that Jotaro's power is based off fundamental want and desire. He wants to hide and not be seen as a threat, so he changes into a small child. He wants to grow up like a normal child, his body changes gradually over time. He wants to protect those closest to him so he becomes big and strong. He wants to be Holly's son? His body responds in kind and is biologically Holly's kid, he has the birthmark. And the foundation hates it. Because their supposed to cater to the Joestars, protect them, cherish them. And in their eyes, Jotaro is just another monster. Over the years, the birthmark slowly fades as the foundation tries to convince him he's not a real Joestar.
  • But let's go back to the All Of The Joestar Main And Extended Family Storms SpwHQ, on Jotaro's side of things, he finally decides to do something he hasn't in a long time since Holly took him in. He breaks out to go find her, and because of his powers it's easy for him to do so without detection. But his Holly GPS doesn't point him to Japan, it sends him up to the CEO's office. When he gets there, he hears Holly. Holly doesn't raise her voice, not often, not on occasion, she never raises her voice. And yet she is screaming bloody murder into his CEO's cowering face, and the thing he hears is;
  • "I DON'T CARE IF I DIDN'T GIVE BIRTH TO HIM, JOTARO IS MY SON AND THAT. IS . FINAL. IF YOU DONT LET HIM COME HOME THIS INSTANT, SO HELP ME GOD, WHAT I WILL DO TO YOU IS WORSE THAN WHATEVER HIS CLEVER LITTLE BRAIN CAN COME UP WITH."
  • His birthmark flares to life, becoming more vibrant than its ever been at that conformation that he is a part of the Joestar Family regardless of his origins. Holly finally notices Jotaro in the doorway and rushes over to him, checking him over and fretting like a mother hen and he accepts it. Feeling like that helpless child again, but much more secure and loved.
  • Jolyne is just happy to have her dad back but she does still infiltrate the foundation to change it from the inside while the Joestars essentially blackmail and gaslight the foundation from the outside. Forced into a corner, by the time Jolyne and her father have turned the whole foundation to their side, protesting and changing, revolutionalizing the whole scp department. The current management council steps down and hands over control to to Joestar Family. Jolyne herself is put in charge, and they restore the foundation back to what it was, what it should have been.
  • A sanctuary for all things supernatural.

I like happy endings ok??

(Though there is plenty of angst still, go ham)

I JUST WOKE UP AND THIS IS THE FIRST THING I SAW AND JUST

YES

YES ON EVERY SINGLE POSSIBLE LEVEL THE WORD EXISTS Y E S

HOLY SHIT MY GUY WAS AMAZING. I'M SMILING SO MUCH OVER HERE THE HAPPY STIMS ARE RAMPANT MY CROPS ARE WATERED AND MY SKIN IS CLEAR ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL JOB

Just. Holy shit this was perfect

I absolutely adore the idea of Jolyne infiltrating the SWF, but can I also raise another thing to add to it: because of the SWF being so through in watching Jotaro whrn he was growing up with her, Holly ended up having to be very aware of the rules and loopholes that the Foundation used

so what if to further protect him, Holly ended up becoming a lawyer

So while Jolyne is gathering dirt on the inside, Holly starts preparing a blackmail case...... but then eventually the rest of the Joestars and Co ;earn what they're doing and start getting involved, and I mean everyone. Joseph and Suzie pull some strings to help them stay hidden, Rohan helps with the information gathering, the Morioh Users and Stone Ocean Crew help with some of the Foundation infiltration, the Bucci Gang add to the blackmail case, it’s a group effort

and I am. FROTHING at the mouth over Jotaro being genetically linked to Holly and his star mark slowly fading that's just 🤌🤌🤌 And what if this also can lead to Jolyne being a full human. Jotaro wanted his daughter safe, wanted her to be normal, wanted the Foundation to never be able to touch her, so there's not a single bit of his non-human genetics in her. Maybe he doesn't even pass on any Stand Genetics which is why she had to get hers via the arrow

also GO OFF HOLLY GET HIS ASS!!!!!!!!!

I think just for fun that Jolyne eventually gets to take over the Foundation. Like, after they get Jotaro free, Jolyne stays "undercover" and keeps climbing the rankings until an....... accident happens with the current CEO leading to his resignation and her promotion (you'd be surprised how much you can get away with when you have a cousin who can bend reality and an uncle who can fix any damage without a trace)

Holly definitely becomes head of the SCP side of things are starts reforming as much as she can to try and bring things back to a more reasonable level. She does keep some of the rules, after all there are some genuinely dangerous things in the Foundation, but she makes sure that the sentient/sapient ones receive fair treatment and safety

also, I had an idea for why things got so corrupt

what if it's because of the Pillarmen.

What if up to that point, the Foundation had dealt with a couple dangerous things, a few stray vampires here, a couple SCPs there, but nothing that bad. But then the Pillarmen come in, kill a fuck ton of people (on top of historically committing TWO genocides) and very nearly succeed in taking over the world. They even have one in custody, and if he gets out the results are going to be DISASTROUS

So they ramp up security. They tighten the protocol when it comes to dealing with the more dangerous SCPs. They make sure that Santana would never escape and that if he did they would be able to get him back before anyone got hurt

.......but then after Speedwagon died, it started getting out of control. The line between what was dangerous and what wasn't shifted. "Dangerous" became less "this poses a threat to society and can't be reasoned with" and more "this is something we can't control." Sentient and sapient SCPs were being treated no differently than the mindless ones. Cells became outfitted with only the barest essentials for survival.

Jotaro was probably the first SCP in decades to make it back to the outside world after being "taken in" by the Foundation

also what if Jotaro ended up breaking out because his Holly compass told him she was really close. I don't doubt that the Foundation would secretly threaten him with her in order to keep him in his cell for however long, so feeling her here? His first thought isn't going to be that she came to break him out, it's that the Foundation are finally acting on their threats

What he finds instead is a very pleasant surprise though

More thoughts.

What if under Holly and Jolyne's rule of the foundation it turns into a place like Charles Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters? Specifically the Scp department, Holly Joestar's Sanctuary for the Supernatural.

The place would be a branch of the foundation made specifically to house the sapient/sentient Scps and give them a haven to thrive in. If there's an scp that is a sentient plant for example, it's not kept in a dinky, dirty, pot that's watered every so often and artificial lights are turned on. It's given a whole ecosystem all to itself, thriving and protected, maybe there's a garden house for them to visit other scp of its kind or similar.

For Jotaro specifically, he's given a home-away-from-home kind of apartment. His room is literally a whole ass two floor apartment with a fully furnished library, bedroom with a California King bed, a nice spacious kitchen, study filled with his memorabilia from various hobbies (think the glimpses we get of his office in part 5), even design choices made specifically with Star Platinum in mind. He's allowed to have visitors both scp and human in his room not behind a pane of glass, even being able to live with him, Jolyne definitely takes advantage of this.

(No doubt Jolyne was painfully reminded of GDS prison when she first visited her father after the incident.)

Speaking of visitors, how would Jotaro's wife (I call her Marina) react to the truth about her husband and the horrible condition he's been living in? Not well I presume and probably attempts to join the protest efforts.

Also, what is Jotaro? Like he's an Scp we get that, but has the foundation figured out what he is yet? Is he just a kid that was abandoned on the streets for having strange powers that no one can explain? Is he some eldritch creature that wished to experience humanity and ended up on the wrong side of it? A bit of both? Like some half human half eldritch? Who knows! Not even Jotaro is garenteed to know.

Y E S S S S S S S S S S

Holly is going to mother the hell out of any SCPs that let her and do everything in her power to ensure they're comfortable, especially the ones that can't leave for their or others safety. She doesn't want them to feel trapped or hate where they are. She wants them to grow and learn and be happy. She'd probably create a whole division dedicated to figuring out ways to safely contain or suppress the more harmful or uncontrollable SCP abilities so they can leave and go outside again without risk of harming others

And you BET Jolyne gets reminded of Green Dolphin. For even more additional fun, what if that's part of the reason why Jotaro was so adamant on being the one to save her. From the day she was born Jotaro swore to himself that she would never know the feeling of being trapped. Never know cold walls and cruel watchers and every single action risking suspicion and consequence. So her getting falsely arrested? He's going to go mental

But also back to Jolyne....... god this is going to hurt so much. Seeing her strong, proud father just taking the treatment. She isn't even able to say everything she wants when she’s finally allowed to visit because of the people watching the conversation. And for a bit of extra fun........ what if at some point she ends up finding Jotaro's files. His records, his security footage, his history.

Horrified is one word. Disgusted is another. Enraged is a third.

And yet none of them were strong enough to fully express how she felt seeing how the Foundation treated her father, how they'd been treating him for YEARS, long before she was even born. How he would sit quietly and patiently for days and weeks and months in a cell with concrete floors and white walls and very little else. How he was scorned and insulted and demeaned just as bad and sometimes worse than how she was at Green Dolphin, but never once reacted

It doesn't help when she finds the time stamps. How every single second of his longer imprisonments began the day after he would visit her. How there was an entire section of files going on about how he would constantly break out to see her despite it being forbidden and that he did it "knowing the punishment that would follow"

As for Marina....... definitely complicated. On one hand, she's going to be absolutely horrified and understandably so, and I don't doubt once she gets the full story she's going to join her daughter and mother-in-law in helping. On the other, this isn't going to magically fix all the issues she and Jotaro had, but with Jotaro now being able to bring her into the loop they will be able to make the situation better. I can definitely see these two having many long talks afterward to clear things up, straighten things out, and prepare to fix things for the long run and generally being so much happier as a result

As for what Jotaro is...... I have a couple ideas

  1. An ancient being that's existed for centuries and got taken in by the Foundation when it was starting out. Got to witness its descent into corruption and mourns what it used to be
  2. A younger being who recently(last couple decades) formed and got caught but wasn't fully sentient until he started interacting with Holly. In the beginning he was essentially a hollow shell because he didn't have a lot of stimulus in the Foundation but began mimicking Holly and slowly grew to be his own person
  3. he was created by another SCP(maybe an unintelligent/not thinking one?) in the Foundation just as the corruption was starting to get worse and it's all he's ever known. Holly's kindness was completely foreign and confusing but it made him feel good and he wanted to learn more about it (in this version maybe his code would be SCP-(number)-B to denote the creation)

Personally I'm leaning toward 3, but I also kinda want to mix it with 2 but I'm not too sure djfbvdhfbvfd

So many goddamn ideas I'm sorry but Planetarium hijacking because fuck these guys would fit in so well- not Plot Important except maybe two but *vibrations*

Status Report of Planetary Line:

Yaretzi- Mercury. Status: Contained. Still bound to the stone mask. Tests are performed to see if her existence has affected the stone mask. It has not. It works fine. Whenever she is activated she makes attempts to a. Reach Santana, or b. Reach Takagetsu Arute, who is on this list later. Or c. Escape entirely because she doesn't like this anymore. They're all mean to her. They used to not be so mean.

Ida Edevane- Venus. Status: Contained in the foundation. Ghost. She's able to inhabit her sword, a painting of her, or is forced into her cell. She has grown increasingly discontent with her situation, and has been attempting to contact anyone who will listen to her. The staff worry she is losing her mind. This could have been prevented if you thought of her as a sentient being you corrupt fucks. Used to talk to Speedwagon on the regular when he was alive. Watched the corruption happen, has a detailed report ready, but has been increasingly stripped of all privileges in the name of safety.

Takagetsu Arute- Sensei- Neptune. Status: Employed by the foundation to avoid being put into a cell. Senior employee, one of the few to live and know why the place was founded at all. Willing to work with damn near anyone to remake the place. Her Stand, Hamon, and her Planetary Mark make her a Person of Interest. She straddles the line between employee and SCP. Has been trying to use this to her advantage, but after an outburst at Jotaro's treatment, has been relegated to a temporary holding cell. Will raise hell upon being given the signal and a chance.

Yoshishiki Madoka- Uranus. Status: Monitored. Is under constant surveillance by the foundation to prevent her from making contact with her line. Currently in contact with Takagetsu via a burner phone and is providing information on the down low to the surviving Crusaders. The surveillance has really only made her paranoid and pissed off.

Kao Aozora- Mars. Status: Escaped. Was brought into custody after the raid on DIO's mansion. Has been arguing for her freedom since. Five years later, she managed to gain enough strength to escape the foundation and has been on the run since. Made contact with Passione and has decided to help under the condition that she isn't brought in once the reforms happen. She was experimented on for years due to her status as a non-mask Vampire and never wants to relive that.

Sorasaki Umi- Jupiter. Status: Uncontainable. Their stand prevents staff and agents from tracking them down, let alone taking them into custody. A lead was temporarily brought up when it was found they were taking online college classes, but has ultimately been dropped when no useful information was found.

Sorasaki Jinko- Saturn. Status: Partially contained. Held in an anomalous mirror in high security, she has been unable to cross over into reality since 1985. Her true form is Uncontainable. The bandage solution will have to do. Has made repeated escape attempts via reality warping, but none have been successful.

Hajimu Yuuki- Terra. Status: Free. There have been no successful attempts in gaining access to the anomalous center of Owl City.

Reblogging again because I have more ideas.

( @starry-blue-echoes I did it again)

An explanation as to what everyone is in this universe because uh. *Cranks the unreality up to 11 with the Planetarium in this universe.*

Yaretzi- Pseudo-immortal soul that relies on blood to gain a physical form other than the bound object. Their last life was an Aztec girl named Metztli Cuacuas. Their mask was discovered via Part One. The foundation is under the impression she's a ghost. She is not. She is very much not. Cooperated a lot more before the corruption. Now she's just trying to steal enough blood to make a form and leave.

Ida- She's actually a ghost. Just one that's able to possess images of herself. Such as her reflection in her sword, and the painting. Would be completely capable of interacting with mirror/ alternate world/ pocket dimension stands.

Arute Takagetsu- ...Hamon and Stand User that wasn't human to begin with. They're a personification of fate that is able to bend things in their favor. Such as getting everyone to believe she's human. She can and will bend fate to try and help, but the foundation is onto her. People are working to get her classified as an SCP.

Madoka- Okay she's actually human. Part of the foundation's Security until they found out she was part of the Planetary Line and all of her human privileges vanished. She is very unhappy about this.

Kyuuma- She's part pillar in this timeline! Confused everyone when they caught her after the raid and things started not lining up. The cover story is that she's a non-mask Vampire. Which is... partially true. It's just that it woke up her pillar genes. Then shit hit the fan once she figured out her own abilities and escaped because she wasn't in a pillarperson proof cell.

Sorasaki Umi- She's human, it's just that her stand breaks the laws of space-time, physics, and what was thought possible. Galactic Nova is powerful as hell and she just uses it to avoid the foundation and keep wi-fi working in her pocket space outside of existence while she completes her college work. Will occasionally work with people outside of the foundation to stage break ins and outs. Has been an active threat since 1991.

Jinko- ...*head in hands*

She's a Pillar woman from a universe that no longer exists and can only interact with this universe through the mirror since the Foundation caught her. She is pissed about this and has decided to act through Kyuuma and Arute. She essentially achieved her world's version of Heaven, but not before the world was essentially destroyed. She and two others are now trapped. Except she's now double trapped by the Foundation and is actively planning murder. Is on a reality bending level and is the one behind the Planetarium line. They figured out she existed about a decade before Stardust Crusaders and trapped her just before it.

Yuuki- Anomalous in how she has been spotted multiple times and yet has apparently still been in Owl City, and in other cases, the sightings stretch back before she was born. She has yet to come across the cause but she isn't leaving that safe zone so the Foundation will have to deal with Owl City if they want to come take her.

Shattered Glass Yaretzi doodle!

First try for her. I'll do a digital one when I have the time and energy.

Guilt over being a tool. After enough time passed, the Joestar family stopped seeing her as her, and instead seeing her as the mask.

(I have done so much research for her clothes I swear- it looks simple but gestures- no- also traditional hairstyle for her!)

10. I recognize canon has made a decision, but given that it's a stupid-ass decision, I've elected to ignore it (+ what should have happened)

The fact this absolute moron was able to somehow convince Other Diego to go along with his plan?

Nah, not in my mental head canon. In my version of events Valentine just freaking yoinked him without any warning and Other Diego, genuinely having no idea what was going on or what Valentine's power was, just ends up continuing and finishing the race. Johnny would be the one to engage the ensuing fight, but mostly out of confusion and a belief that this was a trap set by Valentine (which it technically was in several ways)

maybe if you really wanna mess around with the Infinite Alternate Universes idea you could play around with the idea of Valentine specifically yoinking him from a universe where Johnny was actually the Big Bad, just to ensure it would work out

The reason I say kinda is while a Shattered Glass AU (taking that term from the transformers fandom sdfjdnf) does exist in my brain it a) was made before I'd read SBR and b) technically isn't even my AU but I got permission from my discord friend to talk about and do what I'd like with so :D

basically the whole premise is that Jonathan and Dio have a slight swap. Their backstories are the same, but this time Dio is a good person and Jonathan isn't, however it's specifically just these two who change and thus influence the rest

The main stuff I remember is as follows:

  • Jonathan was the one to commit the patricide and Dio learns Hamon, however Dio still ends up becoming a vampire and forced into his 100 Year Sleep
  • Evil Jonathan..... actually wins, for a long while and rises to power
  • Joseph ends up being his heir, but they're waiting until he's a strong, fully matured adult before they Vampire him
  • he and Caesar fight and they actually somewhat fall in love, but Joseph isn't willing to change and Caesar can't turn a blind eye to what Joseph is doing. In the end, Joseph's actually the one who kills him
  • speaking of Part 2, the Pillarmen are kinda forced into a hero role because the Joestars are actively destroying the world and they have to put aside their differences and work with the Hamon Users to avoid them both being whipped out
  • I think George II was a Good PersonTM and tried going against his family which resulted in his death and Lisa Lisa leaving? Can't remember fully
  • Jonathan and Joseph are defeated in the end, but only Jonathan is actually killed. Joseph and the rest of the Joestars go into hiding
  • Part 3, Jotaro with Joseph's guidance starts trying to secretly rebuild the Joestar Reign but with Stands this time instead of Vampire
  • Avdol is a willing participant and advisor on their side like Enya was, but Kakyoin and Polnareff have been brainwashed
  • A few years after this begins, Dio is found and awoken by the Hamon Users who manage to track him down. Most of Dio's minions from canon are good guys/not as bad as canon
  • Dio manages to beat them, this time killing Joseph but like before Jotaro manages to escape. Dio also gets really badly hurt despite his vampirism and while he's recuperating in Cairo he meets Giorno's mom(however it's still a one night stand and she's still awful) ((Holly might also be dead too))
  • Part 4 is where things start to get Fun. Because Josuke wasn't raised cough groomed by the Joestar Family, he's still like his canon self. This time Jotaro is one of the big bads in Morioh trying to get Josuke on his side to help take over the world. He's also shooting various people around Morioh to get more followers, but understandable most of them aren't too happy with this
  • Koichi in particular has a very bad time. Jotaro ends up "mentoring" him when it comes to Stands, but it's high key Really Not Good and very bad for Koichi's health. He ends up getting a lot of scars and injuries because of it which he hides since Magic Stuff Is Supposed To Stay Secret (cough more Joestar Grooming Bullshit cough)
  • Koichi is still friends with Josuke and Okuyasu, but Jotaro "warns him" that they're dangerous and bad people and that he should gather as much information on their Stands as possible "for his own safety." The other two are not aware Koichi has a Stand
  • this actually gets Rohan's attention when he reads Koichi's pages and starts trying to figure out how to help and get Jotaro OUT of Morioh. Ends up writing in that Koichi will come to him anytime he's injured so Rohan can help but then will forget he was ever here, just to make sure Jotaro won't find out
  • Centipede Shoes still happens because Jotaro wanted to track down Kira and have him join their side, and in a panic Koichi calls Josuke for help. Josuke thinks Koichi was hurt by Jotaro, brings him back to his house and while skirting around the magic stuff explains what's actually going on and Koichi realizes just how much danger he's in
  • Not sure about the ending of Diamond, just that Kira's beaten somehow and Koichi gets briefly kidnapped by Joot and the Duwang Gang rescue him and kick Jotaro out of Morioh
  • Part 5 is mostly unchanged, just throw in Dio in Italy caring for his son
  • There is a part where Jotaro sneaks into Koichi's house and threatens his friends and family to make him go to Italy and try to assassinate Giorno. Clearly it fails and Koichi...... really isn't that hung up on how he might die which ends up concerning the fuck out of the Bucci Gang. Ends up mentioning Jotaro by name and Dio realizes what's going on
  • Koichi and Polnareff bonding over how much Jotaro has fucked them over in life
  • Koichi really just. Vibes in Italy for a while because "since I failed, Jotaro's probably already killed everyone I cared about, I don't have a whole lot to go back to" (this was a bluff, but Koichi's still dealing with trauma and Jotaro's abuse and conditioning so-) but it turns out the reason they weren't answering his phonecalls home was because they were all heading over to Italy to rescue him again
  • Stone Ocean is a bit of the same, since Jotaro was such an absent father there wasn't a lot of time for him to fully groom Jolyne. Pucci is a devout follower of the Joestar lineage and helping Joot figure out how to reset the universe
  • that's....... kinda all was made, Stone Ocean was just starting to air when this was being talked about

My motivation strikes again I'm sorry if I get annoying with my characters- but oh my god this keeps happening, the aus make me think about oc ripples and it grabs me by the throat-

I'll ask permission for the biggol breakdown but for now I will say Ida's going to find a way to pull his own mainverse moves on him with a sword. She does not know Hamon but she is very, very mad.

(This ended up so much longer than I expected.)

Okay- I'll focus on the first four parts because that's where shit hits the fan this time.

First of all, Someone Please Help Yaretzi. This evil gentleman is trying to use the mask for evil and she can tell he's evil and lying and all of this is wrong help-

She tries to stop the mask from working on him with the patricide. Tries to stop the spikes. She is terrified of the idea of being stuck with him. Evil Jonathan reminds her of her death and Hello Trauma.

She's rescued by the end of the part by DIO temporarily, she talks to him before he vampires himself, and she... she doesn't stop it.

She doesn't like Joseph. She doesn't like Jonathan. She talked to Joseph before he was molded into what he turned into. Trying to steer him away. Ultimately it fails, and she is completely CRUSHED by this. Caesar steals the mask in an act of rebellion. She ends up with the Hamon Warriors and the Pillar Men.

...(I can't believe this of all aus is when I reveal the other aspect of Yaretzi's origin and connection to part 2.) Yaretzi's tribe is one of the places the Super Aja passed through. She met the Pillar Men. She was a child, who didn't know Hamon and cared a lot about the world around her, so she ends up at least not dead by their hands.

...then she got masked. Murdered, not turned. It's a Domino effect and her village is burned and eaten. The mask left in the rubble. So when she wakes up not in the base, with beings that are actually fighting the Joestars like Dio did, she's very, very happy to help.

Ida time. It's roughly the same, what happened to her. Except... no Vampire Ethel. She just gets killed protecting the castle like she did. So Ida fights, and fights, and fights until she can't. Escapes with her life, and a grudge. Teams up with the group fighting Jonathan and doesn't get to avenge her sister yet.

...she stays far more in contact with the others, this time around. She gets pulled on board for the Part 2 mess. Helping in the background and relaying information on now Jonathan fights. She wants to avenge her sister.

Then she meets Yaretzi. She'll fight for the ghost in the mask, too.

Arute is a strange case here. She likely gets called in because of being a warrior only. She doesn't meet Yaretzi until then because Yaretzi didn't mask-hop because the original one was still intact. So she's fighting to save the world and push back the threats. Likely ends up helping to found the equivalent of the Speedwagon Foundation, but in opposition of the Joestars because they freaking escaped again and dammit if she doesn't make it difficult for them.

She's around until the end. Hamon extended lifespan, baby! She's gonna kill a vampire and keep teaching Hamon. Probably helps find Dio and fills him in on how things went down. She also probably helped with the stand issue for everything. Fellow Feeling time, baby! Not gonna be there for the raid because she is half the duct tape on the foundation but she's there in spirit.

Now... Madoka and Kyuuma. These two change the most.

Madoka's part of the brainwashed camp. She turned to being a hired killer after Kyuuma disappeared (was taken in by the foundation in secret).

Got a stand and roped into the Joestar Plan. I imagine her stand stays the same as the original, her soul really wasn't changed. So, she keeps Ace of Coins.

Kyuuma would have been working with the foundation since she was a young teen. Her story fundamentally changes, but the people she's around stay the same.

She sticks with the minions until the big showdown, where she's able to team up with others to save Madoka.

I imagine she ends up a vampire still, but it's Yaretzi's advice, not Dio's fault. Now, she gets sent to Morioh. Because there's a lead one of the Joestars went there and if there is, she's going to raise hell. I imagine she ends up befriending some of the group.

(also Rohan keeps trying to use Heaven's Door on her and she is having none of that. There's Foundation secrets in there, dammit!)

I dub her new stand: The Calling, after The Amazing Devil's song.

Her official assignment is to invest the crime spike, and capture the arrow. Her unofficial assignment is to a. Beat the shit out of Jotaro, and b. Keep possible allies out of harm's way.

This is not easy at all. She's going to kill someone at this rate and Kira hasn't even shown himself.

Kyuuma needs a goddamn vacation and it's only June. Arute is her phone contact and she is on speed-dial because she has the braincells.

(Now, I need Yaretzi to have gotten emotionally adopted by DIO she deserves it- reunion hell yeah- she's there in the corner telling stories.)

  • But let's go back to the All Of The Joestar Main And Extended Family Storms SpwHQ, on Jotaro's side of things, he finally decides to do something he hasn't in a long time since Holly took him in. He breaks out to go find her, and because of his powers it's easy for him to do so without detection. But his Holly GPS doesn't point him to Japan, it sends him up to the CEO's office. When he gets there, he hears Holly. Holly doesn't raise her voice, not often, not on occasion, she never raises her voice. And yet she is screaming bloody murder into his CEO's cowering face, and the thing he hears is;
  • "I DON'T CARE IF I DIDN'T GIVE BIRTH TO HIM, JOTARO IS MY SON AND THAT. IS .

Silly Sort Of An AU(?) idea

So you know how Time Fuckery Stands technically affect everything? What if Star and by extent Jotaro had been more….. attuned, let’s say, with Stand Time Fuckery. Not just The World’s time stop, but also stuff like Bites The Dust and King Crimson. Any and all Time Manipulation Stands being used Jotaro is aware of. It doesn’t mean he can do anything, but he’s aware that something’s not right

For example, on the way over to Egypt Jotaro would just have these inexplicable moments where everything would just. Stop. He couldn’t move, could speak, couldn’t even breath, but he was aware

And maybe after a while..... Jotaro starts learning how to move during those moments where everything stops. It's a slow process, but every time he can move for a pinch longer. What starts as only blinks becomes finger twitches which becomes short movements, more and more and more until he can move through the frozen moments like it's normal. Sometimes everything stops at inopportune moments, like in the middle of conversations, but other times it can be useful, like in the middle of a Stand Fight

Then even after Egypt, sometimes there will be moments where everything..... jumps. He can't do much to prepare or figure out how to stop it, but he notices when nobody else does and it drives him up a wall

and then when he goes to Morioh he has this sense of...... offness. Deja vu. Like everything in the last hour was incredibly familiar but he couldn't quite remember when

I know this is kind of meant to be dramatic, but I’m just imagining how this trivializes the Dio fight. Like Dio has been training with his power the whole time expecting the ultimate easy victory, but then Jotaro tricks him with the magnets and punches the The World through the chest and steamrolls him (not literally) while Dio is trying to cope with the damage and comprehend that Jotaro is completely immune to his awesome power fit for a ruler. Shortest fight in the entire series.

GBJDRVJDRVDFB OR THAT-

Damnit now I'm torn. There are two wolves inside of me. One wants to be dramatic and cause heartache. The other wants to Do It Because It's Funny

god but imagine it

Jotaro's just doing what he can to understand the were moments where everything stops. He gets better at moving when it happens, maybe he even manages to move for the entirety of the stopped time and extends it without realizing it. He doesn't realize he's doing that, nor that he can stop time without Dio's doing it first

and then they get to the mansion

Dio does his staircase fuckery with Polnareff, and Jotaro has a moment of "I'm not complaining but why are there so many paused moments right now-" and then Dio tries his thing in the coffin and Jotaro just

Decks him into the sun

it doesn't work unfortunately, but it's more than enough to throw Dio off and gives Jotaro a moment of "SO IT WAS YOU, YOU FUCKER-"

and then at some point Jotaro ends up realizing he can stop time by himself without Dio doing it first and The Beatdown Begins

Dio's having a crisis and doesn't have any time to be smug because Jotaro refuses to let him escape and any time he tries to run he's booking it after him

and then the other Crusaders are just watching this from the rooftops because. What Do We Do Now-

Needed to write a blurb because this au grabbed me by the throat.

He's only more aware of it once he knows what Star Platinum is. It happens first on the plane. Stuck with his eyes closed, when the silence hits.

Someone pressed pause on the universe, and he's the only one who can hear the quiet. He can't move. Can't do as much as open his eyes, twitch a finger, or summon Star.

As soon as it happens, it's done. Like nothing happened. The hum of the plane resumes and he opens his eyes. Suddenly aware of the possibility of a stand.

He's right, it's just not what froze everything. The fly goes down. Then the plane.

The freezing keeps happening. A gap in the world only he's aware of. Frozen in place. Like everyone, everything else. Eventually he moves his eyes during the moments. It takes so much, so much more than he wanted to admit, to do one simple action like blinking, but he manages.

It gets more frequent when they get closer to Egypt. To killing DIO.

He's able to twitch his fingers now. Blink. Take in his surroundings in the in-between of seconds.

When he's finally there, he can hear the ticking. The incessant ticking of a clock coming from the mansion. He finds the source when the sun goes down. It's coming from 「The World」.

It also comes from Star Platinum, much quieter. Only aware of it in the absence of the other broken clock. He can move. He can fight.

He's won. The price far too steep.

The clock he's able to pause ticking into infinity.
