so, fun fact: @lyselkatz did one of the first illustrations of my heihua fic, and i don't think she's aware of the fact at the time i first saw it, i was really seriously unwell, and i honestly saved it on my phone to keep looking at, i loved (and still love) it so much. anyway, the second commissions were opened, i knew i had to get one, and i have precisely 0 regrets. 11/10 would commission again.

there is simply no greater joy than going nuts over someones art. staring at it and picking out the details. putting it in my mouth and swishing it around and picking out the undertones. awah. i love you artists i love you forever

Guys, I did something really wild this week!  I commissioned a piece of fanart.

The lovely and fabulous @lyselkatz​ is in a bit of a tight spot and so she has commissions open this week!  She’s still got a few spaces left! Her prices are really reasonable (linked in post above) her work is always darling and - very important - she loves a good period costume as much as I do. 

Now I’m not going to spoil what it is she’s working on for me, but here’s a teaser - and I’m really excited to share the finished product.

SPN Family

This is it. This is our final year.

Everyone has mixed emotions about it. 

I know I, personally, am intending to make this the best year possible for myself, my friends, and for everybody in my vicinity. This even includes a pledge to ignore the shriekers who literally can’t change a damn thing, to ignore internet arguments, to just block anyone being a whole-assed bag of dicks.

That said, I want to make me friends while we’re all on fire, one way or another, from this news – to go through the final year with and beyond.

I’d love to see people reblog this with a fairly ample list of what their blog is about, if you too want to make new family before the end. And the thing is, as long as we all solemnly swear to not be dicks, don’t just use a list to pick out exactly what you want to the tee – figure out what you can use TS or other tools to blacklist, just find good people, even if we have our differences. You don’t have to like Destiel and I don’t have to like Wincest but we can blacklist it and move on if we stay conscious of our tagging moving forward.

That said, my blog:

I’ll try to get better about my tagging, I go through lazy bursts. But really, SPN Family, y’all. Let’s go out with a bang and not with a whimper.

This is my ART blog: occasionally original stuff, essentially fanart, MULTIFANDOMS, currently obssessed with SPN, also MCU, a dash of Rogue One, some occurrences of various books, TV shows and movies, some 80s- 90s manga/anime. I will probably have a Pushing Daisies, Doctor Who or Harry Potter relapse and Good Omens craze at some point.
