I struggled with this since Pantone's release because if you notice it, I'm never too good with blue (despite my name). All my art have been in warm brown ish colors, or pastel. Kite's original color scheme helped, but not as much as it would make it easy for me.

Speaking of Kite, I don't think people ever really notice what I draw, but I've received a message saying that they knew I drew a Living Coral art with Kite, so how about this year's pantone color? That it should suit him. You know what, that's the very first thing that came to my mind when I saw the announcement, although I would draw Kite in whatever color that would be xD

All the sketchings and painting brushes I use are default brushes of Procreate.

I only alter them a bit to suit my liking, so I don't make money out of them (´>∀<｀)ゝ

So far, I do make a list of those brush names and explanation on instagram, it's found on my profile here. Sometimes I also share how I edit them (when I remember what I did).

On a related note, I recommend using basic brushes (round and no texture airbrushes) for painting in general, and a somewhat fuzzy and light textured one in cases you need to paint specific materials (wood, leaves, etc). So please use the free brushes, they're more than enough (*´∀｀*)

Also, I know that the brush settings in Procreate can look complicated and intimidating, but getting a hang of them will be really beneficial (I'm learning slowly as well). The procreate handbook provides detailed explanations for each of the settings, and they do a lot of tutorials on their ig stories as well!
