I've started investing a lot more time in my Etsy shop and it really pays off. I have new packaging for my stickers and retook all the photos so they look so spiffy now! I can't say enough how much good photography is at the core of everything online. Also the new Sailor Moon sticker pack is available now, it took me long enough ha.

This was a commission I did in August, I'm trying to start creating and uploading art on a more regular basis now.

The lines it makes are so beautiful I can't even.... And for the bad rep g-nibs have when it comes to controlling them and using them well they aren't too bad, though I will definitely be practicing more. My biggest issue with nibs in the past had been ink flow and blobs forming because I didn't have any nice ones, but I have no trouble with that with these nibs. Though that could have also been the ink's fault, I got some new Deleter waterproof ink that doesn't bleed even when I'm not using nice paper.
I feel so pro when I use my new pen and it produces gorgeous lines so I'll be knee deep in ink drawings soon... In the last ROYGBIV illustration I drew the line art with this baby and more to come ;D
I dunno if anybody actually remembers this, but I briefly had an energy surge over this couple; Roy on the left and Biv on the right. I wanted to turn them into a mini comic called ROYGBIV and I made a cover as well as a couple pages but after trying a few times I absolutely could not write a plot for them in one shot form or otherwise.
BUT I do have a a long comic story that I had developed with excitement perhaps 6 months ago? And I revisited it this morning with extreme enthusiasm and wrote 6 pages worth of plot for just the first of three parts and the overall plot skeleton is already written and the environment I love and blahblahblah I'm going to write it instead of ROYGBIV.
It's going to be called 2000 based on the cliche for comic artists that you have to spit out 2000 bad pages before you can produce a good one. Since it's so long with the potential for tons of characters and continuations it will easily be 2000 pages long and beyond (if I ever finish hehehehe...). Not that I won't try to make them as good as I possibly can, but I still have much to learn and practice. Here's a character ref I did of the protagonist when I first conceived the idea and I have another drawing of her I posted and took down but now I think I'll color it and put it back up...
Goodbye Roy and Biv, you will alway be loved and remembered by me <3
