Started watching The Good Place the other day.

this is literally so fucking funny but it took me at least three times scrolling past to get it

Humans are awesome

Alien 1: “So you see, this is why we do not provoke the humans.”

Alien 2: “Yes, this is an insightful battle simulation training recording.”

Alien 1: “You misunderstand. The humans are not battle training. They are doing those things for entertainment only. For fun.”

Alien 2: “…What?… for entertain… Even the human young?!”

Alien 1: “Yes.”

Alien 2: “I… I understand now.”

just... talent.

Okay so I had this dream ast night and it was about the new sanders sides video and I remember it so vividly because the title was “Where’s logic?”

And in it, Roman and Remus spent a lot of the time arguing, making ideas back and forth, and Thomas was super hyperactive in it. He was excited for ideas even about videos where he killed people and that immediately made Virgil question it because his anxiety was THROUGH THE ROOF.

And Patton, I can’t quite remember what happened with him.

Anyways, shit was hitting the fan, Remus was super angry for some reason. He kept snapping at everyone and threading them (“I will throw you off a fucking cliff” “You better hope you live to the end of this sentence” “I will rip off your arms and throw you in a grinder”) and Roman was super stressed because he and Remus were running out of ideas because that’s apparently all they were doing for nearly 18 hours straight. They were both tired, snappy, and everyone suddenly was like “Where’s logan?”

The tough part was that they didn’t realize logan was gone until about 10 minutes into the video (about halfway through) and then they were like “No no no he didn’t duck out pls no-“

And turns out he did and the video was Part 1 of a two part thing and I never got to see part two.

But the thing that sucked was they couldn’t find a way into his room. Every time they tried, this little piece of paper would appear in each of their hands, each containing some kind of puzzle or riddle fit to their personalities. If they solved right, they could enter Logan’s room, but if not, they’d never get in.

And the video needed on them giving up on the puzzles and a familiar monotone voice voice saying “Yeah, I knew you’d never figure those out.”

OH WAIT THERE WAS A PART TWO AND DECEIT SANG A SONG.

So I can’t remember why but he didn’t really look like.....himself? Like he was there, he lied, he was snarky, but soemthing about him was super off to me. Like I think he may have looked really desaturated. And he kinda acted drunk but idk man it a dream.

But I remember that they went to deceit for help because he was the last person they had and he knew about a lot of things almost as much as Logan so a puzzle or riddle may have been easy for him.

And at some point he started singing. Soemthing along the lines of saying that like this is what happens when you take soemthing for granted/don’t protect soemthing given to you and it made sense because he was self preservation but also a bit hypocritical.

Anyways, they did get into Logan’s room and my poor boy was so tired. He was in the unicorn onesie, with a blanket around his shoulders, a stuffed pig in his right arm and eating a bucket of ice cream. He looked really done with everything and his room was just..,,dead. Like it had stuff in there but it was also still super dark and empty and there was no music in the background.

The only people Logan greeted was virgil and deceit which made the rest wonder if they knew about this. Spoiler, they did, deceit especially, but they both respected Logan I guess??

Anyways, stuff happens, logan actually starts crying at some point because there was a whole lesson on “Try not to avoid your feelings and avoid the people who care” and he’s like “BUT YOU DONT CARE” and he makes this whole point on how they mistreated him and stuff (surprisingly never mentioning deceit putting him to the back of the trial) and they just feel really bad about it.

And this is a LONG video because Logan never budges as easily as Virgil. He’s tired and stubborn and doesn’t care to listen to anyone so they remember that Logan doesn’t like talking about feelings.

He uses facts, charts, articles, puzzles, riddles, things that interest him.

So they try their best to come up with all this evidence off the tops of their heads and at the end they’re like “Pls tell me it worked”

“.......Yeah....you’re right.....”

And there’s just the huge wave of relief. Music begins playing in the background, he a little brighter, and can’t remembrance what happens but they got Logan back.

And that’s kinda where it ended
