Summary:

Aziraphale likes his bookshop because Aziraphale doesn't like change.

Over the past 300 years, the bookshop has become Aziraphale's favorite place because of that fact. It's an escape from the constantly moving rhythm of the universe, where nothing ever has to happen or change. Usually, it's closed to the public; though on a singular day in the week, Aziraphale must open his doors and face a few customers for a couple hours to prove that he's an actual business on Whickber Street. After a surprise visit from angelic superiors, loud customers, and broken merchandise, Aziraphale finally snaps. Crowley's there to pick up the pieces.

Yall I just sat down and binged the entirety of ‘Demonology and the Tri-Phasic Model of Trauma: An Integrative Approach’ over the course of six hours and MAN that is an absolutely world rocking experience. I know it’s one of the most popular fics out there BUT if you haven’t already please read it.

Apologies, I often try to avoid promotion on my personal account, though I know a lot of my mutuals expressed interest when this fundraiser was initially proposed and I want to try and reach that audience again and the larger Good Omens community:

On Our Own Side Fundraiser is still looking for organizers and moderators for our upcoming events. Having additional help on our team in the coming weeks is CRUCIAL to being able to run our upcoming events, and without it, we may have to postpone, edit, or even cancel our events.

While this wasn’t anticipated, we are calling to the the wider Good Omens community for crucial help in supporting this fundraiser; you all have already been so incredibly kind so far. With just our watchalong running, we have raised ONE THOUSAND USD for Take Back the Night! That’s wild!

I know it’s a wild and confusing and upsetting time in the fandom right now, and this is a chance to do some good. Get involved with a wonderful, positive, uplifting community and various fun events such as our watchalong (with optional raffle bingo,) auction, charity comms, and zine!

I know that this is both a relief and absolutely DEVASTATING day, though we have to keep on looking for the positives within it all! Such as: with only 1.5 of an episode to edit, we might get the final product a bit sooner!

And speaking of said final project, a lot of people are worried it’s going to be… bad to say the least. But if it is? Well..

Don’t forget about what has made this fandom thrive since S2: our absolutely amazing writers and fanfic authors!

If the movie is good but quick? Fanfics can be written to add ineffable detail! If the final project is mid and is missing a LOT of detail/consistancy/plot/ect? Take the main canon plot points and sow it all together, or expand! If it’s absolutely terrible? 👏FAN 👏 FICTION 👏

Becuase if they don’t get a decent canon ending, than it doesn’t have to be canon in your mind at all!! Chose a fic you like and run with it! The original idea was for them to end in south downs, and in my mind, no matter what happens, they are and always will be.

Finished up a mock Book Omens cover for my school project: we get to design a pop-up book based on a real one, so ofc I chose the only thing I’ve been obsessed with for the past year!!

Crowley is basically the 10th doctor equivalent, and Aziraphale is a weeping angel (that’s not quite like the others!) Fjnally, the doctor finds a fellow immortal companion that won’t die on him, despite being a “supposed” mortal enemy

GUYS GUYS GUYS I decided to update and revise the first chapter of my Mamma Mia! S3 Good Omens kinda-AU since I'm looking to start updating that again soon and I wrote that earlier over the summer; I still have the outline just sitting around and I haven't had time to get to it with bang fics and whatnot; I'll be working on this consecutively with a Spooky Bang fic and some other ideas, so progress will be made, just on the side! Figured I'd advertise again since it's... well, it's better now!
