Being Adam Parrish was a complicated thing, a wonder of muscles and organs, synapses and nerves.
i’m always seeing posts about ronan doing nice things for adam, taking care of him, putting his needs first, always thinking about him and generally losing his chill over adam parrish 24/7. although i can’t say this doesn’t make me thrive, okay, who wouldn’t want to bring the moon and stars to this kid i don’t really know, but for a moment now, consider this: adam’s little frown when he realizes something’s bothering ronan. he knows ronan will tell him when he’s ready and he doesn’t need words anyway as he puts a steady arm around his boyfriend’s shoulder as to say: i’m here, i’m here for you. adam writing short notes for ronan to find in his room: don’t forget to study for your physics test. / you left your notebook with latin class notes in my apartment. / i stopped by and fed chainsaw. / pick me up at seven, if you’re still up to it. / adam being so tired he can feel it in his bones but still asking ronan to come see him later, because he misses him and he misses not being able to touch him while they’re in school, with others making dumb remarks (they’re nobody else’s business,okay?), he just wants to be with him and hold his hand and kiss the hell out of his hot boyfriend. adam, who isn’t really shy when it comes to making a move or going after what he wants, but still blushing each time when he sees a sliver of ronan’s skin as he stretches his arms over his head and his shirt lifts up a little, because he realizes that he wants ronan so much it’s kind of scary sometimes. adam hiding his face in the crook of ronan’s neck, breathing in his scent, goddamn he smells so good, and thinking, this must be what home feels like. adam thinking about how ronan’s deep blue eyes remind him of the clear sky and impossible becoming possible, just before he falls asleep. adam being in love with ronan lynch.
