Summary: Based on this tweet. Sometimes, witches are even nastier than you'd think, especially when they turn your best friend into a cat without telling how to get him back to normal.
[Ao3 link]
"Really?” Dean said. He was angry. “did she really have to do that?”
Dean looked down again, just to be sure, but he was still there. A fuzzy black cat with piercing blue eyes. But not just a cat. Cas.
“Meow,” Cas said from his place in Dean’s arms.
While Sam killed the witch, Dean just sighed and walked outside. What the hell were they going to do now? Cas had been turned into a cat for God’s sake! He sighed again and went to wait in the car for Sam.
When Sam arrived, he nodded to Dean’s unsaid question and they drove off. They had almost forgotten about Cas till he suddenly meowed loudly, almost causing them to crash. “What the hell?” Dean half-yelled, clearly angry about Cas’ outburst.
“Maybe he’s scared?” Sam suggested.
Dean frowned. “He’s been in this car for so long, never had a problem.”
“But now, he’s a cat. A tiny creature in a huge car, on a huge road. You know, cats-” he got interrupted by Dean.
“Just make him stop, I’m getting a headache,” he mumbled, so Sam tried picking up Cas. As soon as Cas was in his arms, he started purring and nestled his head against Sam’s chest. Dean raised an eyebrow, but didn’t say anything. He was all too happy Cas had stopped meowing.
During the drive back, they didn’t say much so Dean had put on some music, not minding Sam, who was busy petting Cas. It was weird, seeing him do that, knowing it was Cas, knowing he’d remember this all when he- “Sam!”
This time, Sam was the one who almost hit his head on the ceiling, looking terrorized. “Jesus, Dean, calm down!”
But Dean didn’t have time to calm down. “Sam, how are we gonna turn him back, if he even ever turns back?”
Now it seemed to hit Sam. The cat in his arms used to be an angel. And now that he was a cat, they assumed he didn’t have any powers to turn himself back. “The witch refused to tell me anything,” Sam said. “Let’s just… get him some supplies for now. Maybe tomorrow it’s over.”

Summary: (Based on a tumblr post I can’t find) Dean always uses the same phrase, and Cas interprets it in a different way.
[Ao3 link]
"Go get 'em tiger!"
It is always the same phrase.
Cas remembered when the world was gonna end, and on what was supposed to be Cas’ last day on earth, Dean told him, “There are two things I know for certain. One, Bert and Ernie are gay. Two, you are not gonna die a virgin. Not on my watch.” He had discovered Cas was still a virgin and was very certain to change that.
Dean had taken him to a bar, getting them both a beer and looking around. There were a lot of women in the bar, getting the attention of the men. The men, including Dean.
Cas didn’t like it there, he was terrified and he shouldn’t be there.
Suddenly, there was a girl, standing next to him.
“What’s your name?” she asked him.
“Cas,” Dean replied for him when Cas sat still.
When the girl, Chastity apparently, told them her name, Cas still did nothing and drank the whole pint.
Then, the girl pulled him up from his chair. Before she could take him away, Dean held him back and stuffed some money in his hands. “Here, take this. Go get her tiger!”
The girl hadn’t been a success, when Cas told her the truth about her father, she scolded at him and Dean took him away.
***
The second time it happened, they had been sitting in the car in front of the house of Nora. When she had asked him if he was free that night, he’d interpreted it as an invitation to a date.
Dean had told him to leave the blue vest in the car, and to unbutton his shirt a little. Before he let Cas go, he told him one more thing:
“Go get her, tiger!”
It is a phrase Dean uses more often. However, Cas has no idea what it really means. He thought it meant he had to get the one he wants.
***
And now, they’re sitting in a crowded bar, several people have been trying to get Cas’ attention. To his surprise, the attention he gets is from both women and men. Dean has been noticing it since the beginning.
“They’re checking you out like hell, man!”
“I know,” Cas sighs. He doesn’t say anything else, making Dean frown a little.
“Don’t care about me, you need to have fun. Just choose someone, get a nice talk, maybe a drink,” he says. And as if Cas is waiting for it; he adds “Go get ‘em, tiger!” he smiles widely.
Cas looks straight into Dean’s eyes. Maybe he does not know exactly what Dean means. But if Dean wants Cas to “get ‘em”, Cas will “get ‘em”.
Cas breathes once, and then, brings his face to Dean’s, kissing Dean with so much fierceness, Dean can’t do anything.
It lasts, maybe, ten seconds, but Dean is standing like he’s been thunderstruck for more than ten seconds after.
And there, in the crowded bar, Cas looks Dean right into the eyes again. Dean has flushed completely red, to say the least. And then, Cas asks him a last thing:
“Did I sufficiently get ‘em, tiger?”

Summary: Dean finds himself in the future, where Cas and Dean are together. Future Cas doesn't know it's not future Dean.
[Ao3 link]
Where am I.
Dean looked around and tried to remember the last thing he knew.
Cas.
Cas had zapped Dean to the future, but... Why? He had been to the future before, and it hadn't been thr most pleasant visit.
Now that they had stopped the apocalypse, their future would be different. Dean hoped so, he didn't like what Cas had become last time.
He walked around for a while when suddenly he smelled something. Something good.
Apple pie.
He sniffed in the air and followed the smell of freshly baked pie. It smelled delicious. It couldn't be his mom, but who was it?
The answer was in the house where the smell came from and as soon as Dean saw it, he stopped breathing and froze in his place.
"Cas?"

Summary: Dean walks with his daughter, Anna, through the woods on Easter morning, when they suddenly walk into someone else.
[Ao3 link]
"Grab it, Anna!" Dean shouted to his daughter. Anna laughed and ran towards the egg Dean had just thrown.
Dean smiled and walked on. As Anna ran through the woods, he thought about what had happened so far.
He had fallen in love with Castiel, the angel of the Lord. Sam and Dean had given up hunting when Sam had found a girl. A few years later, both Sam and Dean had split up and now lived on their own.
It had been weird, after so many years with Sam, but he knew his little brother needed this.
Dean and Cas had bought a small house, and a few years later, they adopted a child. It was a girl, and they named her Anna, after Cas' sister. They had been happy, but then, one day, Cas had just disappeared without any reason. Dean had been mad, but he kept taking care of Anna.
In the beginning he had been hoping to see Cas, walking in the woods they had walked in so many times. But after 4 years, he'd given up.
He snapped out of his thoughts when Anna ran towards him, and he picked her up. She was 6 years old now, and she often asked about her other daddy. Dean thought it was sad she had to grow up with only pictures of her second parent. He had always told Anna her other dad had things to do. That he would come back. But Dean knew he wouldn't.
He never understood why Cas had left, he hasn't left a message, it was just one morning, when Dean woke up to Anna's crying and an empty bed. At first, he thought Cas has been going outside he did thay every once in a while. But when he had soothed Anna, then 1.5 years old, in his arms, and Cas hadn't come back in 3 hours he was starting to get worried.
He had prayed, for days, weeks, months, years, but then he gave up. He knew Cas wouldn't come back and no matter how much he missed Cas, he was fine. Anna had grown up so well, she was a beautiful kid with a good heart.
She didn't have many friends, Dean would always be part hunter and he still didn't trust anyone that easily, but she was fine with it. She liked to see how Dean cooked, and she liked to bake cookies with him.
She also liked to sit on the vacuum as he tried to clean the house, and she liked to mess up the bedsheets when Dean tried to fold them.
He couldn't get mad at her though, he was too happy with her. She was the one who kept him standing when Cas had left. Without her, he'd be a puddle of tears and drinks on the bed right now.
And now, he was spending Easter with her like they always did. He'd let her search for eggs in the morning, in the same woods he used to walk through with Cas. Then, they'd go back home and he'd make a nice brunch for the both of them, eggs with bacon and cheese, toast, and hot chocolate. After that, they'd sit on the couch and watch a movie. She really liked the Disney ones and Dean had never seen them before.
After watching a movie, they'd go to Uncle Sam and spend dinner with Sam and his wife, and Bobby. When they'd drove home, Anna would always ask about Cas. If Sam and Bobby had known him. If they liked him. If Cas would have been there, would he join the dinner too, if Cas would like to bake cookies as well, and if Cas would also enjoy Dean's meals.
It was always painful, but Dean was willing to do anything to make his girl happy. He worked a real job, he brought Anna to school every day and brought her back home as well. He didn't hire a housemaid when Cas left, he just worked harder, and did everything himself.
Dean was proud of how far they had come together, Anna and him. He just wished Cas could've been there.
Suddenly, Anna let go of his hand, and ran away. She must have seen another egg, which was weird because Dean hadn't thrown any.
"Dad! Daddy, come here!" Anna shouted, and immediately, Dean started running.
"I'm coming!" Dean shouted back. He hoped Anna hadn't hurt herself, she did the weirdest things these days.
He ran around the corner and found Anna, looking at someone.
"Daddy, is this the man from the pictures?" She asked, and Dean froze.
" Cas ?"
"Dean." The same voice, the same look in those crystal blue eyes, the same expression on his face.
Dean didn't know what to do. After more than five and a half years , Cas stood there right before him.
"Are you my other daddy? Dad talks about you so much! He says you have beautiful eyes and an amazing voice. You know, he always says you would come back. You're not gonna leave again, are you?"
Anna asked so many questions all at once, while looking up at Cas. Cas just went down until he was at Anna's eye height. "You're beautiful," he whispered. Dean saw a tear in Cas' eye.
Dean was still frozen. Should he hug Cas? Kiss him? Be mad? He didn't know.
But then Cas stood back up. "Dean," he still whispered. "Dean, I am so proud of you."
Dean just opened his arms and Cas slid in like they were both a part of a yin and yang. They stood there for what felt like hours when they felt two small arms around their legs. Dean laughed and picked up Anna, bringing her into their hug.
And that's how they spent Easter brunch, together, both Cas and Anna watching how Dean made their food. They watched the movie together, Anna snuggled up between both Dean and Cas.
And their Easter dinner? They spent it together, with Sam, and Bobby, and Anna. The people they loved.
That night, after they had brought Anna to bed, together, they talked for hours. Cas said he was captured by heaven. They thought an angel of the Lord shouldn't spend his time with an ex-hunter and a child.
They had made him choose: he either got to say goodbye one time and go back to doing his tasks as an angel, or they'd have take his grace and let him be a human.
"What did you choose?" Dean asked, afraid for the answer. He knew Cas had been an angel, and he'd obey heaven for most of the time.
"I chose for you and Anna," Cas said, and kissed Dean for the first time in 5.5 years.
Later that night, they went to bed, crawled under the blankets, and cuddled. And that's how they fell asleep. Together.

Summary: Cas gets woken up by Dean way past midnight to come on the roof with him.
[Ao3 link]
"Cas, will you come with me please?" Dean asked.
"Dean it's like the middle of the night," Cas replied. "Even worse, it's past 3am, Dean. What did you wake me up for?" He lazily closed his eyes and almost fell back to sleep.
"Don't fall asleep, I want to take you somewhere. C'mon, get out of bed and throw on some pants and a jacket, it'll be cold." It may have been warm outside during the day, the nights were still chilly, especially when you got your ass out of bed in the middle of the night.
After a few minutes, Cas had gotten out of bed and was dressed in his sweatpants, fuzzy socks, his shoes and a warm jacket. He still didn’t know where they were going when Dean took his hand and led him outside to the balcony.
"The balcony? What are we doing here?"
"No, we go further up, Cas. You need to do this at least once in your life," Dean replied. "I'll help you, climb on that chair and push yourself up on the roof. You can do that?"
"I can, Dean. But... why?"
"You'll see." Dean smirked.
Cas nodded and climbed on the roof. They lived in an apartment on the top floor of the building. Cas wondered how many times Dean had been on the roof already.
As he sat down on the cold roof, there was a basket thrown next to him, and then he saw Dean's head coming up.
Once Dean had also climbed up the roof, he got the basket and pulled out some things Cas recognized as a plaid blanket and bread.
"Dean, are we having a picnic right now?"
Dean smiled and went on laying things on the plaid. "Call it a midnight snack."
When he was done, dean sat on the plaid and tapped the place next to him, gesturing Cas to sit down next to him. Cas lied his head on Dean's shoulder and shivered, causing Dean to pull his arm around Cas.
"You that cold? Should I bring another blanket?" Dean asked worriedly, but Cas shook his head.
"I am okay, I'm just not used to getting hauled out of my bed to sit on the roof in the cold at 3am," Cas replied, grinning.
Dean laughed, it echoed through the night, and pulled Cas closer.
They sat like that for a while before Dean stood up, bringing Cas with him. He stood dangerously close to the edge of the roof and Cas was afraid Dean would fall down, even though Dean looked so stabilized and calm.
"Look," Dean said, pointing to the city at their feet, and Cas looked.
It was beautiful.
The city was dark, darker than the most cities in America, because of the lack of street lights. There weren't many clubs close, and the clubs that were in the neighborhood closed at 2am.
As Cas looked around, he almost forgot to breathe.
So much darkness, all the people who were around them, most of them sleeping in their dark rooms, a few people being up because they just came home or worked through the night and slept during the day. And Cas was there, he had never felt more alive than in that moment.
There weren't many cars, and the few cars that actually drove around spread their red and white lights around.
As Cas looked further, he saw another city with so many lights. It made the picture nice, the darkness around them, and all the lights further away where they couldn't touch it.
It wasn't until Cas looked somewhat further and saw the sky when he froze completely.
It was a clear night and the sky was full of sparkling stars. Cas couldn’t do anything but breathe and look.
The stars were everywhere, they were with the city of lights, but also all around him, and he just kept looking and looking, not able to take his gaze away.
When he felt someone's hand slide in his, he remembered he wasn't alone.
"This is where I come when I can't sleep," Dean whispered.
Cas completely understood, and he squeezed Dean's hand.
After a few more minutes, Dean led Cas back to the plaid and they lied down, still looking at the stars. Cas wasn't cold anymore, but he still snuggled next to Dean, his head on Dean's shoulder, feeling safe with Dean's arm around him.
It had felt like ours had passed until Cas finally spoke again. "Thank you," he whispered.
"Actually," Dean replied and sat back up. "This is because I wanted to thank you. This is our 3 years anniversary, it's the longest time I have ever been in a relationship with someone, so... I thought I'd make some food and show you the place where I calm myself."
They had been friends for a while, best friends when they moved in together, and suddenly one night, they were watching a sappy movie, and Cas, of course, was crying. Dean had wiped the tears away with his thumb and had pressed a kiss to Cas' forehead. Cas had curled himself up against Dean, and that's how it all had started.
And now, 3 years later, they were sitting on a rooftop at 4.30am. Life could be great sometimes.
Dean had made pie and sandwiches and of course coffee. They shared their food, smiling, remembering the things. It was so couple-y, and Dean had never thought he'd be ever doing things like this. Cas was so great for him, how did he even deserve someone like Cas?
It was 5am when they were done eating, sipping their coffee.
Dean stood up, and Cas walked after him. They stood on the roof again when one of the most beautiful things Cas had ever seen happened.
He had seen the sunset a lot of times, their apartment was on the west side, but the sunrise was absolutely stunning too.
In the beginning, it was small, a bleak spot in the sky, coming with a few shades of blue. But soon, in the blue, colors like pink and purple started to join, and at 6.30am, it was a big mess of colors in the sky, yet so amazing.
"I love you," Cas blurted out, immediately regretting his actions. He blamed the sunrise for this.
They had never said that they loved each other, yet they always had known.
Cas didn't expect a reply from Dean. He had been stupid to just blurt out something like that. He stood still, clamping his almost empty mug in both his hands, when he felt Dean's arms around him.
Dean said nothing, and just wrapped Cas into a hug.
They stood on the edge, watching the sun for another 15 minutes when the sky turned back to blue. They were silent as they packed the things, and went their way back inside. Dean took the basket and put it on the table.
He grabbed Cas' hand and they made their way to the bedroom they shared.
They changed their clothes back into pajamas and Dean closed the curtain as Cas lied back into the bed. He closed his eyes, he had been up for a few hours and was tired. He felt Dean lie next to him, he felt Dean's arms wrap around him, all in silence.
He snuggled closer into Dean, laying his head on Dean's chest and pulling his arms around Dean's waist.
He was almost asleep when he heard Dean whisper something in his ear.
"You too, Cas. I love you too."

Summary: Based on this tweet. Dean has a demon possessing his body, causing him to do things Dean would never want...
[Ao3 link]
"Dean."
Dean didn't reply as his eyes switched back to black. He grinned his perfeft grin, a grin only Dean Winchester could pull off. And somewhere, Cas hoped Dean was still there. It would be painful for him.
"Dean."
"Your boyfriend is gone, long long gone," the demon replied.
"I refuse to believe that," Cas said. He saw the demon's eyes flicking back to green for a fraction. Dean.
"Dean, I know you're in there, and if you can hear me, I want you to know that I am sorry and I will forgive you."
The demon grinned again. "Very, very touching. Now, any more last words before I slam this beautiful blade into your chest?" He held up an angel blade.
Cas closed his eyes and thought of Dean, the Dean he had known.
It had all started in hell, the part Dean didn't remember. When Cas laid eyes on Dean's soul, it was the purest soul he had ever seen.
Once Cas was done with putting Dean back together, he rose Dean from hell, back into his body. The work had been though and he had left a handprint.
The first time Dean had seen Cas was actually funny.
"Who are you?" Dean had asked.
"I am the one who gripped you tight and raised you from perdition"
"Yea, thanks for that," and with that, Dean had planted his knife in Castiel's chest. The surprise on his face wasn't even acted when Castiel took out the knife with ease.
They had been on bad terms for a while, Dean didn't trust Cas. But soon, he figured out Cas could help. He had become Cas' friend.
Amd even after the leviathans, even after Cas had become God and even when Cas had done such terrible mistakes, Dean had always forgiven him.
Cas had left Dean in purgatory, and when Dean found him, he smiled and hugged Cas. When Dean got out of purgatory without Cas, he'd been having visions until Cas was back.
When Cas' mind was controlled by Naomi, Dean didn't let him go. Dean told him to fight it. Dean said he needed Cas. And as had fought. And Cas had won.
All the things they had done together, the times they've helped each other, whether it were with a job or just a regular thing, they knew they could count on each other.
It was a different friendship than Cas had with Sam. They were family, he, Sam and Dean. But there was a difference between them, and Cas could not put his finger on it.
6 years, and now Dean was a demon and Cas couldn't help him. He wished he could, he would have given everything to give Dean back his body. But he couldn't.
Cas opened his eyes, noticing the demon was still waiting.
"Yes," he spoke. "I'd like to say something. Can you make sure Dean hears me?"
Suddenly, Dean's green eyes were back, full of anger and also... love.
"Dean, I want you to know something," Cas began. "I don't care what the hell that demon is gonna do, it is not your fault. I know you will blame yourself, but promise you'll fight against it.
Find Sam, he'll find a cure. You'll get through it, I promise. I forgive you."
"Cas.."
His eyes switched back to black. "Enough talking," the demon said. "Showtime."
He held his blade in the air, and right before it hit Cas in the chest, Cas thought about how ironic it was.
Dean had seen him the first time and he had stabbed him. The first and the last time Dean would see him, is when he would stab Cas in the chest.
He felt the blade slice through him, making his chest heat up like fire was in it.
He looked up one last time.
The demon had given Dean his body back, for one second. One second of pure torture, where Dean felt his own hand stab his best friend in the chest. He saw the white light coming, yet he kept staring at Cas' blue eyes.
They were as blue as the first time they met.
When the demon took over his body, but kept Dean watching Cas die, Dean couldn't do anything. He had killed Cas. He had stabbed Cas in the chest, and now Cas was dying.
Right before the white light was too bright and Dean had to look away, Cas said one more thing. The one thing Dean had always wanted to say yo Cas.
And it broke him. He shuddered as he heard Cas say the words, forming them perfectly as if he wasn't about to die in any second. He felt his heart break and let the demon take his body again. It didn't matter.
Because those words had hurt him even more than the demon ever could. It couldn't be true. Cas didn't mean it.
But he did. Dean looked at Cas' eyes as Cas spoke the words, and Dean knew Cas told the truth.
"Dean Winchester, I love you."

Summary: Every night after Cas falls asleep, Dean sits by him and tells him everything he can’t tell Cas when he’s awake. And then, one night, Cas is awake without Dean knowing.
[Ao3 link]
It was another night, Cas was sleeping and Dean sat in a chair next to his bed. Dean had made sure Cas was asleep before he came in. he knew Cas was a heavy sleeper. He waited till Cas’ breathing was evened out.
Once he was sure Cas was fast asleep, he ran his fingers through Cas’ hair. It was so, so soft.
“Cas,” he murmured. “You have no idea how happy I’m with you. I just… I can’t tell you when you’re awake. I’m sorry.” He thought about what Cas had done for him, how he had saved Dean’s life every time. And Dean just couldn’t tell him.
He couldn’t open up to people, not even Sam or Cas. “You make me so happy, Cas. You don’t even notice, do you?”
“And look at you, lying here. So adorable, so… beautiful. If only you could see it yourself. If only you realized how grateful I am to have you, how much I care for you. If only I had the guts to tell you when you’re awake.” Dean sighed.
He closed his eyes and pressed a kiss that was barely there on Cas’ cheek. He went on, and kissed Cas’ other cheek, his brows, his forehead and finally his lips.
“I love you,” he whispered. He traced his fingers slowly from Cas’ jaw to his neck. “I love you so much.”
Suddenly, he felt Cas’ pulse triple against his fingertips. Dean slowly opened his eyes to see Cas’ awe struck expression.
“Oh shit,” Dean cursed. Cas wasn’t supposed to be awake. “Cas I’m so sorry, I didn’t… I…”
“Dean,” Cas said. Dean didn’t say anything as he got up, causing the chair to fall as he nearly tripped over it. He wanted to leave, right now.
“Dean stop,” Cas said again.
Dean stopped. “You don’t have to say anything, I just… I don’t know.” He was starting to leave again.
“Dean, I said stop,” Cas said, now commanding Dean.
Dean didn’t stop this time. He didn’t want to hear what Cas had to say. He didn’t want to hear Cas tell him how much of an idiot he was.
Dean was afraid, afraid he could never talk to Cas ever again, without being reminded of this. He wished he had never done this. He should’ve just stayed out of Cas room.
He should’ve never even start telling Cas what he feels. Dean Winchester doesn’t do feelings. And he surely doesn’t do feelings with his best friend while he sleeps. It made him look like a creeper.
He’s been in Cas room so many times. The first few times he didn’t even say anything, afraid Cas would wake up. But Cas didn’t.
So after a few times, Dean started talking. Started telling Cas things. Things he’d never say out loud to Cas. Things Cas shouldn’t even know.
When Dean accidentally touched Cas’ cheek once, Cas didn’t flinch, didn’t wake up. Cas was a really heavy sleeper.
And since that moment, Dean couldn’t stay away. He had to go. He had to tell Cas what he felt, or it would eat him from the inside.
But now Cas had been awake. That had never been part of the plan, and Dean felt guilty all over. He should’ve never started this. He should’ve left Cas asleep, and bring his unwanted thoughts and feelings somewhere else.
He should’ve-
“I love you too, Dean.”
Dean paused and slowly turned around. He didn't say anything.
“That was the sweetest thing you’ve ever said, and even if I wasn’t supposed to hear it, I’m glad I did.” Cas said, looking at Dean.
Dean still didn't say anything, he hadn't even moved yet.
Cas got out of bed and walked over to Dean, his hair messier than usual, a slight blush from when he was sleeping, looking cuter than ever. He waited a moment before pulling Dean into a hug.
“I love you too,” he whispered, as he felt Dean’s arms wrap around him.

Summary: (Because honestly, who doesn’t struggle with their bedsheets?) Cas is trying to get the sheets on his bed, and Dean is in the room next to him, only hearing the noises Cas makes
[Ao3 link]
It’s just a normal day in the bunker, and everyone’s doing their thing. Which means research for Sam, Dean is on his bed, listening to music, and Cas…
Cas is trying to put on bed sheets, but he fails miserably. “Stupid bunker,” he mumbles, sprawled out on the bed. He groans as the corner sheet pops up again, mocking him. “Stupid, stupid corner sheet, for the 6th time.” He groans again and tries to put it back on the corner.
Meanwhile, in the other room, Dean is sitting on his bed. Concentrating.
Don’t think about it. Don’t think about it
But he can’t help it. His thoughts drift back every time, and hearing only the bedsprings and Cas’ groaning isn’t helping. He can’ keep his mind off the idea any more. The sounds… it’d be the same if he was in that room too.
The way Cas would look beneath him, a sweating mess. The pleading blue eyes, the chapped lips on his own, how he will cover his mouth with a pillow so Sam won’t hear anything…
Shit, no, don’t think about it, he keeps telling himself. He pulls up the volume and hears Metallica blaring in his ears.
But still…
Nope, he tells himself. Not gonna happen.
He thinks about, research, about an empty field, about the most boring things he can think of. Anything to keep the bulge in his pants under control. He closes his eyes and concentrates on the music.
Cas groans once more, and decides to give up. He is sweating and those stupid bed sheets won’t listen to him anyways. Then he gets an idea. He walks to Sam, but Sam is busy doing research. He doesn’t know where Dean is so he gets back to his room.
“Ok, one more time.”
He wishes he hadn’t said that. Now, the whole sheet is off the bed and he’s sweating even more. Time to look for Dean, maybe he can help.
Dean feels the tension of someone looking at him and he opens his eyes. Cas stands in the doorway, looking weary and panting.
Oh shit that looks really hot. Dean’s mind switches back to his imagination. This is not good.
Please don’t let Cas notice anything, he thinks as he tries to hide his upcoming boner.
“Dean, can you help me? I think it will work better with you.”

Summary: (First thing I have ever written, for a contest on Instagram about 2 yeara ago) Christmas should be one of the happiest days for everyone.. but not for Dean Winchester

“Dean!” Sam shouted. “Dean, I’m gonna go grocery shopping, do you need anything?” Dean looked up from the book he was reading. “Yeah, I made a list for the Christmas dinner, it’s on the fridge, can you get that for me?” he yelled back. “Sure, what’s it this year?” It was silent for a moment and then he heard Sam scream of happiness. “Dean you’re making the best dinner ever! I gotta go, see ya later!” Dean had barely said “bye Sammy” as Sam sprinted out of the door. Dean smiled. He had decided to make Sam’s favorite Christmas dinner, roast turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, a salad and of course a big apple pie.
He read on in his book. It was a good book, about a super hero called the Arrow. He saved the people in his town by anonymously going to the people who did no good for his city. But suddenly, the book turned sad. The Arrow had a team of 3 people who helped him, and in his team there was this special girl he liked. They had just kissed for the first time, and it was magical but after the kiss, the girl walked away, leaving him with the words “I told you, as soon as we talked about this it would be over.” Dean sighed and put the book away. He thought about the Christmas dinner they had 8 years ago.

Because it was National Coming Out Day (and I failed to write a story within 24 hours oops) and I hadn't written anything in a while. It may suck a lot sorry I haven’t written anything in a Long Time
It wasn’t supposed to happen, not today at least. And yet, it happened.
Today, Cas would hear the results of the finals he had taken, and today was the day he would hear if he actually finished school and Dean had been anxious about it since before it even began.
***
“Cas, I should go, you need to study.”
“You’re ridiculous” Cas answered, laughing. “Finals aren’t here for another few weeks, Dean.” Yet, he knew what Dean meant. He should study, and hard. These finals he would take in a few weeks weren’t just regular finals. It were finals that would decide whether Castiel could actually finish college or not. And god, did he want to. He was so absolutely done with school, so many years of classrooms and homework, more homework, tests, finals, more finals, and finally the final finals.
“I just want you to finish so badly,” Dean sighed. “I’m gonna miss you though, can’t wait till I can leave too.” Dean had to stay one more year, not because he was specifically younger (which he also was), but simply because he didn’t care enough in the first year and had to redo it. These were the moments where he regretted it with every piece of regret he had in his body.
It was silent for a while.
“You know I’m gonna visit you, right? No way in hell I’m leaving you in this hellhole without having me here to cheer you up every now and then.” It was a joke, but they both knew it would be hard.
Right now, they were roommates, and as it happened, also boyfriends. No one knew about it though, and sometimes it was very hard to keep it a secret, especially when all the other couples started going all lovey-dovey at each other and the only thing Dean and Cas could do was share a look. To all the others, they were just regular best friends.

Like the ultimate love-story, there had been a spark all along their friendship but neither of them knew what it meant. Until, one night when Dean had come back from a party, drunk, and woke up Cas because he tried to make the hot chocolate he knew Cas loved.
“Dean, what in the hell are you doing, making such noise in the kitchen at 3am?” Cas had asked, eyeing Dean, looking all fluffy and huggable in his pajamas and hair sticking out on his head.
“I’m making you hot chocolate because I know you love it and I thinkIloveyou,” Dean mumbled, not even realizing what he was saying.
