Okok very important, so I’m gonna get my bf to play portal 2 on pc as his first PC game bc portal 2 barely has any timed puzzles that put u under pressure so he can go at his own pace . The idea was I wld Js explain portal 1’s events to him bc that’s a bit more challenging for beginners especially with turrets. But idkk if it’d be better for him to experience portal’s story and atmosphere first hand before going into portal 2 🥲, but then he might get frustrated with a lot of more unforgiving mechanics like energy pellets

Recently been replaying the Half life series because of all the hype around the leaks, and I was playing the first game today and like omg I forgot how fun it is like it’s more than 25 years old and I’m still having a blast in it, just makes me think abt how special a series it is and what valve have made, lol Ik it’s cheesy but it’s magical and literally ahead of it’s time, and there’s absolutely no doubt in my mind the next game will have an everlasting impact just like its predecessors
