Undead Follower | Hellven
Commissioned by @hydaen
This lovely piece was drawn by a very skilled artist that did a fantastic job with the theme and characters, Lilith and Kim. Please consider supporting them! “Hellven is a supernatural drama of a reaper, undead human and demigod trying to stop recent hauntings from stirring up death’s order.”
Character Concepts | Hellven
Some early work of the main characters, we have Dante the son of Eden-Lucifer. Lilith the daughter of death, Pythius. And Kimberly, the undead human thrown into this mess. On the bottom is the first renditions of Pythius and Eden, god of death and life, they were designed together. I’ll be showing the final designs in the future :)
“Taking place in a cultist death-church, Hellven follows the adventures of a reaper, undead human and demigod as they try to put a stop to the hauntings stirring up death’s order. Dive into a story stuck between Hell and Heaven, encounter Gods or Revenants alike in this new twisted supernatural drama.”

Hi! I have been following your work since your Undertale comic. I just wanted to ask on what are some projects or work I should focus on for an animation portfolio? Like what are some things I can do to create a strong portfolio for an internship. Any tips are appreciated really.
Hi fellow old fan! It depends on what kind of portfolio you want. Like visual dev, or story-boarding, or actual frame animation. You can have multiple or only focus on one. I personally made a strong visual dev portfolio with two side animation/boarding sections that helped me get gigs, BUT need heavy revision in the long run.
I structured my Visual development + Animation portfolio like this: Come up with 3 projects with different challenges, and art styles. Then make the concept work that goes behind them, and then the actual animation project. Concept -> Board -> Animation OR Concept -> Animation Animation and story-boarding ARE NOT THE SAME. Each need vastly different skills. https://valeriamontemayor.carbonmade.com/
Its also okay to copy the structures of other peoples portfolio, general formatting etc. Don't try to be too fancy with that, your portfolio site should be simple, and easy to go through. Either way the 3- project style has worked for me for my Highschool-college portfolio and my professional portfolio. Animation is all about variety, so being able to show off how diverse you can be is a big strong point. Best of luck~!
Beatboards for a scrapped SKZ episode. If you’re wondering where this series went and why I’m taking a long hiatus. It’s cause I officially pitched the series to a publishing company and I’ve been waiting to see the final results of that. These sort of matters take a very long time, and so the series will be limbo until a decision is made. 11 Years Of Art
Howdy everyone, Fashionably late like always, it’s time I made another art sum that I’ve been doing every year since 2011. I’m not one to shy away from my younger cringy self, I like to think of it as “look how far I’ve come” sort of thing. Lot more animations this year, I’ve had less and less time to just do pure illustrations. Nowadays I spend most of my time working on storyboards or comics. I expect that to increase this year as I make a new storyboard portfolio.
Thank you for reading my stories and supporting me throughout the years, months, days.
Here’s to a better future, Rock on.
Thumbnails are done for the animatic of Jailbreak! Here's a little prev. of the episode. The introduction is an inked comic that will be going up this month. Patrons will get early access to it as a lil gift along with sketches/drafts. Also have decided the animatic will have voice actors to read out the script. I'm quite excited for this episode, it's going to be the first actual non-music video episode I've ever made. Thank you for your support and kind comments!

Sketches of the Bois Cal got hovis in the first pic, but his giant cat lady cheered him up. And for Dex, well Dex, after having to draw you X amount of times in the last the chapter, I took a hiatus...and forgot how to draw you, somehow.. ————————————————————– Tapas: https://tapas.io/series/Skull-Kidz Patreon: [https://www.patreon.com/lunaartgallery] Twitter: [@LunaArt_Gallery] Instagram: [@lunaartgallerys]

It’s done, practically 6 months of work from two people and this chapter is finally done. I’m incredibly proud of the work me and Erika have done. I went through many things in my life during this period, and trying to adjust to my new work flow. I’m a full-time comic artist and animator, and managing personal projects has been quite difficult. Erika freaking graduated college too. So thank you to everyone who continued to support us. Big thanks to Erika @photoshop-and-chocolate who was my colorist and editor.
First half of the episode will go up next Saturday on tapas. Thank you, and hope everyone enjoys. The entire chapter will go up on my Patreon tomorrow, there’s a bunch of behind the scenes content over there. Consider supporting me if you like my comics and animations.
Thanks again, can’t wait to share this chapter!————————————————————–

Bam 46 panels drafted, another 40 to go! The next episode of a SKZ is an intermission following Dex, 4 months before Skully's arrest. This time my lovely editor has collaborated with me on the story and art! It's gonna be sweet n kick ass, learning some more about our boy Dex and a newbie Cadet, The Rookie. Support my Patreon for early access to art and more. I'll be posting more W.I.Ps on there, and character sheets in the near future. ————————————————————– Patreon: [https://www.patreon.com/lunaartgallery] Twitter: [@LunaArt_Gallery] Instagram: [@lunaartgallerys]
10 Years Of Art
Howdy everyone, Time for another one of theses, how time flies by huh? Hope you guys had a fun New Years and X-mas. I pray this year is better than well, the mess we had. While many creatives have flourished in quarantine, I wasn't so lucky and ended up burning out. I'm still slowly getting back into the groves of thing, but first thing first is to wrap up some stuff before diving headfirst into personal work. And, I have to figure out how to manage my time better, so I don't over work and burn out again. I have many projects I want to work on, but obviously I can't do it all at once.
Thank you for reading my stories and supporting me throughout the years, months, days.
Here's to a better future, Rock on.
It’s yer boi, ready to kick ass and probably break a nail.
