SKZ is set in a Halloween-inspired city, Salem that is infested with witches and their ghoulish minions. After Skully drags herself out of her grave, she vows to hunt down the witch who cursed her and nobody is gonna stand in her way. Well, until that somebody turns out to be an undercover cop and gets her arrested for destroying half the city. To pay off her debt she partners up with him, a soulless guy going by Dex. Together they’ll battle against the forces of dark magic in this twisted shounen-horror story.

Finally finished this animation showing off Skully's backstory, Dex's story is next but it's going to be a comic strip on my tumblr/tapas instead of an animation. This just took too long to do again, but I'm glad I got it done. Thanks for watching :)

CHL is set in a pop-surrealistic fairy-tale world that follows a rotten prince named Olie, and his knight, Gale. After scaring off every princess willing to marry him, his mother ships him off to his aunt’s kingdom. Everyone around here acts a bit too stiff, and smile far too wide for his comfort. The newly crowned step-princess seems to have a fondness for stuffed dolls and him. He will soon find out that his stay here, will be a permanent one.

I just finish the first part of nine, raws. This isn’t the final animation by any means, I still gotta chuck the raws into after effects and add a ton of fancy stuff. But I wanted to share the pure colors/shots, loving this grimy color scheme.

CUPP is a one-shot concept that focuses on abstract horror mixed with an street aesthetic. The main character is a quiet boy named Piru who is able to see monsters nobody else can, he can’t seem to figure out if it’s all in his head or another reality. Taking his pills makes them go away, but he doesn’t know if being ‘normal’ is worth being alone.

If you were wondering why I haven’t been posting much lately this is one of the reasons why. I’m working on a two-part animation about Skully and Dex backstories called “Hey, Look At Me” it’s sort of a mashup with “Hey look ma, I made It” and a cover of “Look what you made me do”.
I just finished the storyboard for Skully’s part and drafting up a coloring test, something nice to look at, but not too clean or difficult to do. I went through a handful of styles before I found something that I liked ---> ( Eve MV). You can find more updates on my Patreon.

Skully, (with her familiar Grim) and Dex, when they were teens. Skully and Dex didn’t really know each other in their younger years, but it’s cute to think of the possibilities.
I am working on an animatic to tell their backstory, so I needed to redesign their teenage/human form.

Finally was able to finish these sketches after a month having then stored away. A buddy of mine was telling me about converse pants, and showed me, and we both instantly thought that Dex would totally wear those. Made me think about Dex’s questionable fashion sense.

Princess Blossom and her “fairy godmother”, Merry. Since birth she never really fit in with the others, and the young charmless prince was the only one who didn’t shun her for her odd behavior. But after a bloody incident she was shut away by her parents to “get better”. The princess returns years later, but the treatment only taught her how to never get caught again.
Part of my concept art portfolio: One of the hardest pieces I've ever done, been working on this for months at this point, so many tries and doubts. I buckled down and spent the last 4 days working on it till I finished. I’ll link my other attempts below, environmental coloring isn’t my strength, but I really want to show people what I got.

After some tests, this is the new style for Charmless, my personal animation project based around fairytales with a twist. I wanted it to be stylistically different from Skull-Kidz! which is about action, bright colors and anime. Charmless is sort of a dark romance story with some humorous elements, but overall it’s more mature than SKZ with little action.

I usually don’t post sketches on here, but I was excited to show you guys what I was working on. I still need to line and color these, which I’ll do eventually, but I have a lot on my plate right now. The top characters are Oat, Sirena and Nate. Then Skully, Dex....Olie and The Belladonna.
Since Charmless is an animated short now, I’ve decided to scrap what I have now and start again designing it. I want to make it visually different from SKZ which is a lot easier said then done. Eitherway, Olie is based off french royals, so them legs.
