I’m not sure yet. Rn, I’m very busy with November Writings, which means that one fic will be published each day. Steven isn’t on the list for it anymore and I don’t think I feel like writing very much afterwards, because this challenge always takes a lot out of me. But you aren’t the first to ask for a part two! Maybe I’ll come up with something fun, we’ll see!

Absolutely. As you said, I don’t write smut for requests. Sometimes I’ll make a one shot spicy, but only out of own initiative. Due to personal reasons I also refuse to write requests for matters such a depression, auto-mutilation, assault or non-consensual groping/kissing. I understand a lot of people cope with these experiences through hurt/comfort fics and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t one of them. However, writing about it - for me - is different than reading about it. Again, I might write them out of own initiative but never for a request.

Literary wise, I love to write long stories/slow burns. The only con of this is that you have to have a shit ton of inspiration and motivation which won’t always be there. It’s totally worth it in the end though! Especially considering reader’s reactions to it. I like to write tiny things such as preferences when my writing slump hit an all time low: no need to put much effort into it and it’ll get you back in your writing circle

Genre wise, I love pain. Never enough angst. All hurt no comfort. Well, maybe sometimes comfort. I’m not very good with expressing emotions and I feel like that is very apparent in my writing. By writing angst, you won’t always have to express affection and emotions (which is ironic considering angst is supposed to hurt your feelings). Something shitty happens, it evokes more emotion from the reader and your tears fuel my writing.

Yes to all of the above. Throughout the story, you can see the (as I’ve affectionately decided to call) the dwarfication of Raewyn, which starts in chapter VII, where she opts to wear a bead for the first time. It slowly escalates, with which also come subconscious dwarven traits, such as the realisation the Kili is her ‘One’. I haven’t written the exact she knew this on purpose, hoping someone would eventually point it out.

So yes, she knew. And yes, she’ll get the bead back, but you’ll have to wait for new chapters to figure out how ;)
