Kroelian SLOWPOKE, SLOWBRO & SLOWKING
They are based on Dionysus, the greek god of god of the grape-harvest, winemaking, orchards and fruit, vegetation, fertility, insanity, ritual madness, religious ecstasy, festivity, and theatre
Kroelian SLOWPOKE (Grass/Water) is able to grow a special type of berry from its tail, that can be used to make a very potent wine, the berry alone is strong enough to get you drunk, and SLOWPOKE is often seen eating its own berries, leaving him in a constant state of intoxication. Kroelian SLOWBRO (Grass/Water) After evolving into its large shell, SLOWBRO's tail begin to grow rapidly, completely filling the shell with vines and fruits.SLOWBRO can be seen often eating this fruit, resting on its own bed of leaves and vines in a state of blisfull drunkness
Kroelian SLOWBRO is based on the Cornucopia, also called the horn of plenty, a greek symbol of abundance and nourishment
Both SLOWBRO & SLOWPOKE have the abilities Harvester and Rippen
Kroelian SLOWKING (Grass/Fairy) It travels around dancing and singing with drunken glee, its presence alone makes trees and orchards to grow fruits and the fields to grow crop and with a wave of its tail, flowers bloom all around. The shell on its head has broken in two, the piece still on its head now resembles a crown, while the tip of the shell has become a drinking horn the its always full with wine, a single sip of this wine is enough to get grown man drunk.
SLOWKING's tail is meant to resemble the Thyrsus, Dionysus sacred staff, a symbol of prosperity, fertility, and hedonism, the petals around its neck are meant to represent the panther skin that Dionysus usually was represented wearing and the Shell resembles the drinking cup that he was often seeing carrying.
SLOWKING has the abilities Grassy Surge and Poison Heal

Ib gif i had to make for class !! i put a genuinely absurd amount of hours into this for ONLY a walk cycle (i have animated like. close to never.) and its kind wonky but again... i put way too much time into this to keep it all to myself..
also not sure how well this will post as i have no idea how to optimize the gif to have it look good- but not be disgustingly large file.. but i tried T_T

I went down a rabbit hole this summer researching romance novel covers and painting fanart in this style and
- this is an EXTREMELY fun style to work in, and also
- many of the most iconic romance novel covers you’re probably picturing when you think “classic painted romance novel cover” were produced by one prolific, masterful artist
Her name was Elaine Duillo, and she had a long and extremely productive career spanning from the mid 60’s to her retirement in 2003. She worked mainly in acrylics.
She did illustration work in other genres as well, but she really found her niche in romance novels. She pretty much redefined the aesthetic conventions of the genre, popularizing male models and male nudity and sexualizing men to cater to the female gaze in a way that simply wasn’t the norm before her work. You know Fabio? she’s the one who started using him as a model, and essentially launched his career. And honestly, just look at her work:

She was literally carrying the entire industry single-handed and then they just did not replace her.

☕️ about FE6? I've watched some let's plays but I never got to try it!
OH ! I'm still not done with the game, but it is absolutely fascinating !
It's the first non-Kaga game, and it brings some really interesting things to the table. This is the game that brought supports to the table as we know them in modern FE - you had some interesting conversations available between characters in previous FEs, and you had supports in the forms of stat changes, but FE6 made them visible, obvious, and with a lot more options (still limited, curse those 5 conversations limits, but a lot more)
And... idk how to say it, but since I'm playing it right now and I'm not done with it, I can say that it feels... fresh to me ? It isn't, and I am definitely helped a lot by modern emulation (save states help with the arena abuse I can't deny it ;D), but I've felt like it has a lot of really cool map designs to navigate around, for example ! And I still think that even with some of its more whacky aspects, like the RNG being genuinely baffling, it's a really really solid entry of the series gameplay wise. Of course I'm not done with it, but so far (around chapter 17), I've had a lot of fun with it in terms of raw gameplay.
It does have its downsides. Like I said, the RNG is whack. There's someone at IntSys who's a fucking sadist and who created Arcadia as a chapter. But honestly the biggest one to me is the cast of characters. There's a lot of cool ones, of interesting ones, but there's almost just as many that are pure bodies to put in your army in case you loose someone ? So FE6 tends to just. Throw characters at you every other chapter and it's like. My guys i'm glad your giving me people but at this point 3/4 of my army is benched ?? And I know that there are other characters I will get ??? They just. They just never stop coming ! And I don't know them !! Who are these people !!
Oh, though, another upside is the story. And Roy, in particular. He's a genuinely fantastic character, thrown in a situation he wasn't exactly ready for and he still deals with it with a certain idealism and yet realism that I just... really appreciate. I like that, despite Marcus being present, his back-and-forth is with Merlinus, and he's often just really down to earth without compromising on trying to do his best for the sake of people !
Playing FE6 really made me appreciate and love Roy, genuinely, he's a great character, and I think it's also a good story. it goes all over Elibe, and it is much more epic than the more quiet, secretive story of FE7, and I think that's such a good thing. Also it's a detail but having played FE7 before just makes FE6 hurt more okay :(( it makes it hurt even more
(Sophia exists also and I really like her she's just neat)
