It would be too much for anyone.

Any Way the Wind Blows - Chapter 62
I do fully intend to color this, but I am so happy with how the lines came out and coloring this beast might well take me another couple of weeks. So please enjoy this as it is now. I’ve wanted to illustrate this scene for ages, but I knew it would be a lift and I was a bit daunted by the task. I really wanted to give it the attention it deserves. I have never in my life been so affected by a love scene. The tenderness, the communication, the naked want. It just gets me every time. I really hope I’ve done it justice.
This is such a moving scene in the book. I am in complete agreement about how affecting this love scene is, how brilliantly it’s written, I’ve not read any love scene that’s affected me so. I told you I’d be overwhelmed when I saw the finished comic @artsyunderstudy and I am. It’s stunning. You’ve captured the emotions of this scene so well—tenderness, love, desire, want, vulnerability. You’ve given us their words but brought the scene to life with this art. The emotions come through so distinctly even with the black and white, almost more so, as they are set off from the background. I love how you’ve portrayed their faces, fingers winding through hair, the play of emotion over their features, the way their bodies fit, tangled so inextricably in each other. The swirl of sheets and hair, arms and legs and wings and tail. Such a fluid quality to it and also you can feel the heft of skin and muscle and thighs and the bodies moving pressed and moving against each other.
Truly breathtaking.
