vengeance is waiting
Carry on my wayward son! (Look everyone, an angel!)
This is a drawing of two imaginings of Inej in the fandom. The desi one is on the right, and it is the more popular of course. The left one is the Romani one, which is less shown in fandom but seems more fitting in the universe to me.

Van Eck face! :D And KAZ! THIS IS GOLD!
You know, in my post about the scene on the boat after the heist, I am not talking about the "armor" line, I am specifically talking about "'How will you have me? Fully clothed, gloves on, your head turned away so our lips can never touch?'". Like, objectively that's a mean thing to say to someone with touch aversion. It's just weird to me that we all have to pretend Inej is practicing therapy approved communication skills at all times, especially after the most Insane Two Days Ever, and a history of mistrust. She said something shitty once? It just strikes me as weird towards her to have to pretend it wasn't just kind of shitty. It's also just the narrative framing of Kaz's touch aversion being directed equivalent to his emotional distance, which would be untrue and separate things in real life, and acknowledging that the two kind of get muddied up in a few scenes, doesn't mean that Inej is toxic or something jeez
God, how many bad takes about Kaz Brekker do I have to read today? Read again, people. With your eyes open, if possible.
Don't feed the crows. .. Why not? Inej, Kaz / Six of Crows (c) Leigh Bardugo
