Anyway if Reva was the Grand Inquisitor, the surviving Jedi would have been dealt with a lot sooner
I like how pro-active she is

A study/speedpaint of Reva Sevander the Third Sister Inquisitor. Been enjoying watching the Kenobi series so I’m greatly anticipating the final episode in a couple of days.
Can’t tell if this take is mild or spicy, but Reva had a far more compelling and believable character/redemption arc than K*ylo R*en ever did.
INQUISITOR REVA SEVANDER in OBI-WAN KENOBI Part VI
reva is such a prime example of excellent storytelling. it was obvious but subtly laid out who and what she was. anyone could guess she was one of the younglings who escaped. but her motivations and desires were the mystery. she remained this unpredictable aspect of the story we’re told that is needed when we know where the rest of the characters will end up. the loyalty to herself and her need for revenge alone, an example of a character truly walking the line between light and dark. i truly love her. and i’m glad i trusted the writers start to finish for it all to make sense.
–I couldn’t do it. I failed them. He killed them all, and I couldn’t do it. –You haven’t failed them. By showing mercy, you have given them peace. You have honored them. OBI-WAN KENOBI – Part VI ››› Moses Ingram as Reva Sevander ››› Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi
You’re not serving him, are you? You’re hunting him
Fallen Angel - Alexandre Cabanel, 1847
Reva Sevander - Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi, 2022
haven’t seen any jedi!reva content cross my dash yet, so I thought I’d remedy that
We want the same thing. Do we, Obi-Wan? Do you really want Anakin dead?
Reva’s backstory gave me emotional damage so here’s me coping
You are trying so hard
And you are still so young
Eyes open. Give it everything you've got. You're gonna lose, but you're sure as hell not gonna die sitting down. I'm proud of you.
the fact that Reva felt betrayed and abandoned by Anakin and Obi Wan as a youngling and then now as an adult they are both once again the people who’ve abandoned and betrayed her
the fact that Reva “trusted” Obi Wan to a degree to go along with his plan and he effectively used her and left her for dead after he said they could do this together
the fact that Obi Wan’s decision to leave Reva behind, to effectively fail to save her once more just like he failed her as a youngling, is now gonna possibly put Luke and Leia in serious danger if the secret is revealed
I am massively intrigued where the dominos are gonna fall
People obsessed with being allowed to criticize Reva without being perceived as a racist are so fkin annoying. Of course you can criticize Reva, no one is saying you can't. It's just you refusing to examine your internal biases on why you hate her so much when her acting is far from the worst in the franchise, why you're so obsessed with how she's "stealing the screentime from Obi Wan," despite her not being nowhere near as prominent as Obi Wan in the show, why you criticize her design (I've seen many people hate the fact she wore her natural hair for the role), why you're so obsessed with wanting her to die and why you can't forgive her for cutting off someone's hand and kidnapping Leia; yet still love the white (and white coded) characters doing far worse than we've seen Reva do. Literally people love Thrawn and insist he's an antihero when he ordered a whole orbital bombardment, tortured Hera, and said he would've destroyed a planet and it's people without hesitation if it meant defeating the Grysks, but Reva cuts one lady's hand off and it's off to the gallows with her. Vader does the most atrocious shit ever and he's one of the most well loved characters of the entire franchise. Ventress brutally murders numerous people, including clones, sexually assaults Commander Colt, enslaved Savage, and literally kidnaps a baby, but she's very loved here.
White characters are allowed to do so much, but when Reva does anything, suddenly she's the one who's irredeemable and horrible and evil and the worst person in the entire franchise 🙄
Yes, you can criticize the casting, I myself do not like how a black woman is working for the Empire (Nazi analogues) either, but lots of your "criticisms" are legit just racist and biased against black women. Stop kidding yourselves.
