I’m gonna say something that might piss a lot of people but I’m starting to get sick of seeing people romanticising the shit out of the drunken limoreau kiss.
Folks I would have loved to see them have fun and enjoy their sexualities and identities freely but as JORDAN THEMSELF said: They were fucking mind raped. That is NOT changed in any way by the fact that both Marie and Jordan clearly had feelings for each other. We don’t know what exactly did Cate say to them to suddenly make them drop all their worries and problems and decide to party and make out but I do believe that whatever command she gave them resulted in a line of action BOTH OF THEM DEFINITELY WOULDN’T HAVE TAKEN had they not been forced to.
And if you have trouble believing it, then allow me to remind you just how fucking murderous Jordan was when they thought it had been Rufus’ fault and how worried they were about Marie being okay. They literally said that they had been mind raped guys. And yes, their perception of it may have changed upon discovering that it was Cate who did it. It added to the equation their friendship, their knowledge of her trauma and that she probably in her messed up mind did it to “help them”; BUT IT DOES NOT CHANGE THE FACT THAT IT WAS HORRIBLY NON- CONSENSUAL, THEY WERE BOTH COERCED AND WE SHOULDN’T TAKE IT AS ANYTHING ELSE.
