Underrated moment in The Two Towers: when the guards at Meduseld order Gandalf and his homies to remove all weapons, and Gandalf goes "You wouldn't part an old man with his walking stick? 🥺" at which Legolas is immediately in on the bit and offers his arm for the "old man" to lean on as they're walking in
