This post is so funny to me. I watched it back on tiktok, and every single person in the comments section was just ripping into this guy. They were being so mean to Coleman over this, it was unreal. But every single other place it gets posted to people love this guy. Coleman, I hope you're seeing these reposts, we accept you as part of the LGBTC+ community.

Always get the itemized list, babes. ALWAYS.

Not just for medical either. Ever got smacked with a huge ass fee for "damages" when you move out of an apartment that not just eats your security deposit but tries to take an arm and a leg as well.

Ask for the itemized list, you will be surprised how fast they come back with a "huh, that's weird, I can't seem to find where these damages are coming from" and let that shit go.

People WILL try to screw you on all kinds of routine and mundane shit. Don't let them.

REBLOG TO SAVE SOMEONE FROM OUR BULLSHIT HEALTHCARE SYSTEM

It drives me fucking insane how even when people say “hey don’t be fatphobic and don’t hide behind ‘health concerns’ to do so. Fat isn’t inherently unhealthy” people line up out the goddamn door to go “yeah!! There’s a difference between being fat and being obese!” Fuck off !!!! First of all I’ve been considered “morbidly obese” (god what a dehumanizing term) for nearly my whole life despite living a healthy lifestyle, but even if I hadn’t, even if I were completely immobilized and disabled due to my fatness, even if it were “my fault” according to those arguments — I’d still be deserving of respect

like. Do you hear yourself right now? Do you think this is kind? Fat people aren’t stupid. They know that they’re fat, they don’t need to be “guided towards” anything. Nobody needs to be “given empathy” for the state of their fucking body. Fat people don’t need the pity or approval of thin people. Not to mention the term “reasonable bmi”. You think it’s unreasonable for me to exist? Jesus Christ

one thing that drives me absolutely nuts is when ppl characterize princess bubblegum as like, a bubbly disney princess type of character. i know thats her name and shes pink but like yuo would only think this if you didnt watch a single minute of the show because literally the opening shot of season 1 episode 1 is pb doing science experiments on corpses

bubbline is not a “bubbly prep x moody goth” couple theyre a chill gay stoner x unethical scientist who is the dictator of a police state populated by people she made in her lab

everyone in the notes saying “this is why i hate pb” go to jail go to hell this post is about how much i love this woman i think her disregard for morality is sexy actually

SIXTY FIVE THIRTY FIVE IM DYING

CC:

Brother: What does the order mean?

Person filming: They/she?

Brother (increasingly frantic): Yeah but I’m, I don’t wanna fuck it up. Is it— what does that mean you said she/they and then you said “oh wait no use they/she,” which one do I use?

Person filming: They- they more than she.

Brother: Oh god

[laughter from the person filming]

Brother: Okay, like, how- how much more though? Is it like if- do I- am I being an asshole if I say, like, they maybe like 4 times and she 2 times?

[more laughter]

Brother continued: Or is it like, 60-40? 65-35?

How to put “wrote fan-fiction” on your résumé:

Leveraged an inventory of established fictional character and setting elements to generate a disruptive custom-curated narrative entertainment asset.

I worked in HR, handling applications and interviews, and if someone turned in that string of techno babble nonsense, I would have rejected them out of hand.

A resume doesn’t need to sound fancy or overly technical, it needs to tell us why we should hire you.

“Independent novelist/writer” is more than sufficient here. If you want to express the skills that fan fiction taught you, something like, “creative writing, editing, and publication,” will get you a lot further than… Whatever that just was.

A resume should be tailored to the position, if you can afford the time and energy for that. But if not, then just think about what writing got fandom taught you. How to respond to criticism, how to present a professional pubic face, how to correct punished mistakes, creative thinking, project planning, persuasion via emotional leverage, html formatting, office suite fluency.

There are a lot of actual, marketable skills that go into fan fiction.
