as funny as “shigeo fucking Hates teru” is the more times i reread the scene the more i became convinced thats probably not the case. like, based on when his attacks start vs when they escalate my read on it is more “shigeo is having a mental breakdown and is finally going to do the one thing he wants, the only want he has that has managed to surface through his repression of everything else (including the REASON he wanted it in the first place) and someone who he thought was his friend is trying to ruin it for him!!! teru tried to destroy the bouquet he told him to buy!!!! if i were comprised entirely of pent up emotions and my friend did that to me id probably be like “youre going into orbit gayboy” too

I originally made this comic for the now-cancelled terumob zine, but since there was no longer a deadline I decided to take some more time to make it a bit better. So now, about a month later, here is my 4-page terumob comic about bicycle touring! I took a poll for Teru’s hairstyle in this and the results were overwhelmingly in favor of ponytail Teru. Thank you to everyone who voted, I hope this is to your liking!

I couldn’t include this in the comic itself due to the page limit, but here’s the backstory: After finishing middle school, Mob doesn’t have the body improvement club anymore. Before he has a chance to join a new club in high school, Teru tries to get him into bicycle touring so they can spend more time together (and so Teru doesn’t have to be alone during spring break).
