Since it's my birthday month I decided to treat myself and get a new lightweight jacket from REI. I got it for $50 (originally $100). In the past if I was stressed or PMSing (like today 🙃) I would comfort or reward myself with food. I'm happy that I'm finally disasosiating food with happiness and satisfaction. Although I still love to eat (I mean who doesn't 🐽) it's a healthier relationship and not a crutch for any feeling I might be having at the moment. How long have you been following a keto plan? How much weight have you lost in that time? I just started almost a week ago so just curious 😊 . I'm feeling like this is a "diet" I can actually stick with!
Hi! I’ve been following it pretty seriously for the past four years. (but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t eat A LOT of chocolate this Christmas).
I think in total I’ve lost around 40 pounds but recently I’ve been maintaining my weight.
My main goal has shifted to being healthier overall so my focus hasn’t been on the scale as much. But I will say this is the only lifestyle change I’ve made in my life that has actually allowed me to lose weight (you can read about my snail matabolism on my about me page 😂).
I hope Keto is something that works for you like it has for me. I keep reading about more and more benefits from this lifestyle so it makes me so happy to hear more people are trying it. 🙆♀️
