Ngl the previous ask got me thinking... let's try some family angst with Malleus this time:

• (d/n): (your) Daughter's name

• Years after graduating from the night raven college, you, a human being, marry Malleus who is now the new ruler of valley of thorns.
• Though many opposed to his choice of marrying a human and refused accept you as their Queen, Malleus still decided to choose you, his one and only love to be his Queen. Soon enough, you're no longer just his Queen but also the lovely mother of his dear daughter, (d/n).
• Malleus can't be any happier; he's feeling like his finally living his happily ever after next to you and his sweet daughter. He thinks nothing can ever take his happiness away until he comes to realize the darker side of reality: You are aging.
• Years go by, and you get older and older by each day that passes from your life. Your body becomes weaker and your hair starts to grow white while your daughter, who is partly immortal like his father, is still nothing but a kid.
• Regardless of how many times Malleus confronts you and tells you that you're still just as beautiful as the first day to him and he'll love you nonetheless, you'd still break down in tears everytime you gaze upon your reflection through the mirror, you know that this happiness isn't going to last forever.
• Finally illness and pain brings you down, and Malleus's beloved wife ends up sick in bed. Your last days are spent with happiness and regret; happy that you got to share the love life you couldn't have imagined with Malleus, your one and only love. And regret, because you know that now you'll have to leave Malleus alone with your little (d/n), that you'll never see your daughter grow and fall in love...
• When you pass away, Malleus breaks down. He has to be strong in front of his dear princess, (d/n). No daughter deserves to see her father in tears. Malleus is heart broken, and his daughter is now all that's left for him. Your dearest gift to him ever.
• His daughter becomes his everything, and Malleus wants to make sure that he'll never lose her like he lost you.
• Decades fly by, and the young (d/n) is now grown into the lovely princess of valley of thorns. She lost her mother when she was a child, it was just her and her father all the time. His father is her only family, and her best friend. She knows how brokenhearted he's been ever since you passed away and doesn't want him to be hurt one more time.
• Everything is fine until one day...(d/n), falls in love. She's stuck between going with love of her life and staying with his father, knowing that he needs him after all he's been through.
• But on the other hand...what if it's the true love you used to tell her about? The you had when first first met Malleus...?
• There's no need to describe how Malleus feels when he finds out that his daughter is secretly meeting someone...He's furious. It gets even worse when he's told that the young princess is slowly falling in love.
• Malleus can't risk losing (d/n) like he lost you, she won't know what sort of dangers might be coming her way.
• Even as he tries to be positive about his dear daughter's tears and begs for his father to let her be with the one she loves, letting go of her would end up in Malleus being left all alone one more time. The thought hurts him like nothing does:
• “If her daughter leaves him as well, he'll finally end up just as isolated and hated as Maleficent herself was...”

Okay so- I've been thinking about this idea for quite a while and was highkey inspired to write a fic but- Hhhhhhh I wasn't really sure if I should-
